Great! (review written by 13 year old son)
I liked this book a lot. The book is a continuation of the Wings of Fire series, and I would consider it a sequel to the rest of the series. It's funny. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in the rest of the series.

This leads you up to how the series is unfolding giving you some wonderful background history of how and why things have come ..
My child wanted the series. I've read all of the series. I just finished this book. I was drawn to the story. The background history of how and why things have come to be is provided by this. I was unable to put the book down. I enjoy the easy writing style, the stories of the characters, the wit, and the fun of this group of books. If you enjoy a nice easy read, enjoy dragons with flair and character and you will feel like you are immersed in the books. You do not want it to end. You want the next one. I just sat down for a major binge reading session after they were all released. The dragon wants to read the next book.

Legends are Amazing...Stories just waiting to be OPENED
I think this book was great. It made me want more for a day. I think the special edition was great and the story of Darkstalker is included in it. In this book, when he hid the croll, he only said that he would have his powers back. What happened in Book eight is explained in this book. All of Darkstalker's powers were back when Peril destroyed the scroll. That's how he split the mountain open.

Seriously, if you love the other books, you'll love this one just as much
I enjoyed the look into Darkstalker's beginnings, and just like all of the other books in the series, this does not disappoint.

Great fantasy story line for young 6 to 14 age boys. C
My son enjoys this series. He is waiting for the next book to come out. This is definitely a set to keep in the library as my 8 year old girl is starting to like them. To think about it again.

Most Amazing Book in the Series!
The book was very tense and meaningful. This is the best Wings of Fire book yet. If you read the other books first, you'll get a better sense of what's happening. This is the book for people who enjoy dragons, adventure, and friendship.

   Favorite Wings Of Fire book!
This book is so amazing! It was very good. We'll think about it! Before Book 6 for best story continuity, read it after Wings of Fire book 5. It is set 1000 years before the dragonets story in the first books and it goes into detail about how things work in this world and how important it is to a fan of the world this is set in. If you want to understand the last few books and the 3rd book saga in the series, you need to read this book first. It is a great book to stand alone. I would recommend this book for children as young as 8 years old, but it is a great read for adults. I'm 41 and I couldn't put it down once I started it, I was very happy to have more history on these great characters.

   Love this book.
One of my favorite characters is Darkstalker, and I loved reading his back story. When you have nothing else to read, it's a good book to read again. The book arrived in good condition.

My daughter's only complaint is that the author doesn't write fast enough. She memorizes every detail by re-reading them.

   Amazing Book
This was both interesting and heart-breaking to me. After sharing her character motives with my mother, she immediately wanted to read the rest of the books. My book stack fell while I was trying to get them, but it was almost up to the ceiling. Darkstalkers slow descent into insanity really got me thinking. He went insane after he hid his animus magic. Maybe Aminus dragons go insane because of the bad things they do with their magic, not how much they use it... The character development of Clearsight and Fathoms was amazing, and they would put their insane friendsoulmate to sleep even if they loved them. I'd love to know what happened to Clearsight after the epilogue caught my eye. Maybe a new Legend book is on the way? I'd love to see one.
