Great Putting book for the Mechanical minded
Book is very interesting. Don 't know how much you know about Dave Peltz, but he is a very detail-oriented, technical type guy. If you want to know how many people miss a putt to the right from 3 feet, this is your guy. He goes into great detail with most aspects of putting, if your more of a feel-putting kind of person, the book Dave Stockton would be a better choice. If you are more mechanically oriented, this is the perfect read.

   Cautiously Optimistic
I bought this book strictly because of Dave Pelz's other books, which have helped me in measurable ways. I put together rarely three. After reading a few chapters, I started over-analyzing my writing and seeing my accuracy decline. A golf buddy suggested that I should not mess with a part of my game that was so steady regardless of the pedigree of the instructor. If you struggle with this book, I recommend putting it. This recommendation comes again because of the respect I have for Pelz's scientific approach to the study of golf. This book will be a hard, dry read for some. I find it more like a science book, but I happen to like science books.

Dense and full of amazing facts
Scientific Book '', filled with great theories about putting. A big take-away for me is that even pros often miss from mid range and longer and everyone underplays break. Both of these have helped my putting even though I put on an arc and can not do the straight back and straight through method.
