Definitely Good To the Last Drop!!
This 15 th edition of the Coffeehouse Mystery is different in many ways and I trust you, they are all goods ways. The setting is out of the norm for our characters, taking place in Washington, D.C., not NY. Mike Quinn, her significant other, is playing a starring role in the story, but his ex is only in a minor role. I wasn't sure how I'd like a story about a President and his daughter, so I was hesitant to start this book. I couldn't put the book down once I picked it up. The Village Blend's coffee was delicious, but the plot twists and turns were equally delicious. A great addition to the series.
Lots of history lessons weaves throughout the story
I loved all the historical information in this book. I loved walking down the history lane, from the Underground Railroad to the Presidential coffee tidbits. This wasn't my favorite book in the series. I was not as immersed in the story as I have been with others. The first 12 were done at a slower pace. The second 12 received a lot of attention.
   Still going strong
It's a little choppy as there are a few places it jumps around in, but I love it. I loved the story and it was very good. I think the last book was a good place to end the series as it has been going on for a while, but my mom thought it was weak. The series is still going strong.
Like the best coffees: complex, mysterious, can keep you up past bedtime!
The most satisfying entry in the series so far was this one. It is a fast- paced mystery. I had a hard time putting this down. It focuses on Mike and Clare, with Mike being framed for a crime that may or may not have actually happened. Light on the coffee lore but heavy on the conspiracy. How many people are on the side of the baddies? There are lots of surprises in this puzzle. The HEA romance ending is charmingly handled.
One of my favorite cozy mystery series
This book was one of my favorites. I don't drink coffee, but the descriptions of the process and the life at the coffee house are intriguing to me. All of her employees and the other characters who come in and out of the story line are likable. It's highly recommended, but you should read in order.
Another 5 Star Success for Cleo Coyle!
A well written and thought out book that keeps you engaged from beginning to end is what Cleo Coyle provides. You can get to know and love all the characters. The froth on the fancy coffee drink is just the icing on the cake, it's the happy ending. Coyle is always up for it. This is a good place to read if you are a fan. If you are new to the series, it may take awhile to get to know the characters and understand all of the relationships, but you will still be able to enjoy the mystery as it unfolds in typical funny, crazy and fascinating style.
