I really enjoyed reading the sequel to the first death note, because they managed to keep the plot line fresh and original, and it did not feel like the first in the series. Death Note continues its reputation of being a beautiful plot line, thick art and intriguing characters. I love seeing the Task Force L meet up and their reaction to him, which was pretty funny. Currently I am waiting for the next two in the series to come in the mail because after reading one and two, I want to read the whole series. I also enjoyed the crop of new characters that are beneficial to Light's story, as it adds an additional element of suspense. I would recommend this series to any manga fan, because there are so many different themes that could appeal to all walks of life.

I have the Death Note manga right now through Book 3 and I can not wait until I can get more! This whole series is filled with suspense and keeps you thinking, there are a lot of twists and turns. This is my favorite manga and I highly recommend that you try it. The plot is good pace and so fast that I must have read each book 5 times!

Unknowingly purchased a 2009 edition

I am very happy with this product, it came in a prefect condition. The cover is great, no tears or rips appearing on the pages. I purchased this book as a collectors item '' by a seller at a great price. I have wondered why the retail price listed on the back cover was $ 7.99 and the price on Amazon was $ 9.99. This is actually because the edition that I purchased from 2009 is less than an edition that was more recently printed. I haven 't yet read this volume since my package arrived in, but the art looks great as always and I'm sure it will be a great read!
