   This is no Joke!
This is one of my favorite writers by Batman and illustrators of the Dark Knight as well. What is not to like about Capullo's downright intensity in imagining the Dark Knight crushing those around him that get in his way? Capullo is his illustator next to Snyder, but is almost too much to handle. Pair that with the hands off approach of DC to allow Snyder to take these stories, whether they are The Court of Owls or the most mentally unstable version of Joker that you will likely see, you will NEVER be bored of these stories. In fact, I read through this arc a second time and have dedicated myself that as long as Snyder and Capullo continue to work on The Dark Knight, I 'll have to stick with them and cheer them on as I study every panel and word they write and illustrate. Enjoy! It's a blast!

   Best Batman New 52 Story Ever!
I started reading Batman the new 52 a while ago and has been fantastic. These have been some of the best stories I have ever read, but death takes the cake in the family! If you are a Batman fan and haven't yet read it, you are missing out.

   A great look at joker's obsession
This volume paints a perfect picture of jokers love with batman in my eyes. Every time I read about their encounters, it reminds me of two brothers, the older independent and the younger brother who just wants to be around his elder brother and play games.

The Snyder and Capullo team are amazing. They really bring a new life to the Batman mythos and take you on an amazing ride. Such a wonderful series and a great take on the Joker.

   Pretty fun take on joker
I love the Joker and I thought this story arc took him to another level of crazy, but I didn 't give it 5 stars because I don 't feel he was as wise in this as I like. I liked that Snyder started to explore a bit further the relationship he has with Batman. Great story regardless, but it had the mishap of being right after the Court of Owls and City of Owls, two of the best batman stories I read.

Really like this series so far ''. I say that, while it was good, people raved and raved about it, so that my expectations were too high. While it is good and dark, I thought there would be a little more of a reveal between Joker and Batman.

Look, I won 't post spoilers, but I was enthralled with this story from cover to cover. Though I must admit, I am curious about what they plan to do with his face after all that... and hopefully now you are as well.

Out of all the new 52 stories, Batman is easily my favorite. Beautifully written and aesthetically drawn ''. In so many ways, it is aesthetically pleasing. Their attention to detail and understanding of Batman's story arc is what separates them from others who have tried to bring Batman to life before.

The artwork is dark, the stories so far have been amazing with a very great edge, which I prefer. This series was recommended by a friend and I have read the first 3 graphic novels in a week! I hope the series continues to be this good ''. Highly recommended. Highly recommend.
