I'm adrift, suspended in a pool of senselessness, currents pushing me to the surface of something--an emotional revelation--that trembles into existence only to evaporate, seconds later, as if it might be terrified to exist.
This goes on and on and on and on and on
Lightyears.
Eons.
Over
and
over
whispers of clarity
g a s p s of oxygen
and I'm tossed back out to sea.
Juliette Ferrars isn't who she thinks she is.
Nothing in her world is what it seemed. She thought she'd finally defeated the Reestablishment. She thought she'd finally taken control of her life, her power, and her pain. But Juliette has only just begun to unravel a lifetime of lies, and she finds herself faced with a familiar choice:
Be a weapon. Or be a warrior.
This time, she's not alone. Stronger, braver, and more resilient than ever, Juliette will fight for life and love with her friends by her side--but first, she has to survive the war being waged against her mind:
She has to remember who she was.

3.5 stars - a little stretched
Derived From Web , Jul 21, 2020
I got through this book quickly last night because it was not as long as the others. I'm at 3.5-4. The book provides a lot of information to make things fall into place. Many new things have been introduced or explained in the story. A lot happened in the book, but I'm not sure how they will come together in the end. I like to see the main couple have a happy ending, but is this series dragging on? It might have ended after the 3rd book. Storylines are getting longer. Kenji's point of view is the same as his character. Continue to like his personality. What happened to James and Adam? The entire book was missing from them.

3 stars

I am torn about this review. The author's writing is amazing and the characters are wonderful. The series should have ended in book 3. The books after this one feel redundant. The overarching story had nothing to do with it. The flashbacks are not necessary for character development or relationship building. The author has stretched the story.

Much better than the last one
Derived From Web , Apr 9, 2019
I was excited to see the author come back to the series. I didn't care for the last book, and I wish I hadn't read it. I got this one because I didn't want to leave the last one in my head. The price is overpriced. I finished the book in a few hours, because the first chapter is a repeat of the end of the novella that featured Kenji. This one was better than the last. Most of the book is about what Warner and Juliette remember from their past, which is why there are so many flashbacks. Most of the action takes place until the end, which is where we get some chapters from Kenji's POV. I fell in love with the series because of the beautiful writing. I finished this book more quickly than I did the last one. I'm not sure if the final book will restore the series to its former glory.

Amazing yet again
Derived From Web , Apr 5, 2019
The author is not disappointed. I was excited to read the book when I was told it was on my app. It is an easy read, like the others. I finished it all in one day, but now I need more. As the story develops, you will be surprised. The character development is done well. You have to get invested in all of them. The Juliette is portrayed as a strong independent woman. Her story is enhanced by Warren and I appreciate that. I like her friendship with Kenji and how the author developed that character. I want him to be my best friend. Well done again! It was a great read.
