Book is a Gem!

So many valuable tips in caring for a dementia patient are : LOVE is like a precious jewel to a patient. My sisters and I are caring for our 93 year mother, who has a fast-advancing dementia. I bought the book to share with my sisters who found it valuable ; they each received their own copies. We found many useful and helpful ideas and techniques to help our mother through this life stage. Thank you, Thank you, and thank you for putting all together and reminding us of the precious gem that is our mother.

This is a must read for someone who cares for someone with dementia. The GEMS allow for caregivers to better understand the changes that occur in this journey. If we allow the person with dementia to shine versus focusing on what they can no longer do!
