I bought this booklet after being diagnosed with diebetic. The information the dietician could provide was easy to follow. It was easy to follow the receipes. Not a lot of extra ingredients are required. It's easy to track meals.
   Needs photos!
My mom likes to read the content but needs more pictures to showcase the recipes so I have it a 4 star.
   Must have cookbook!
Excellent cookbook. It's life saving! Stays at the counter. The family likes to cook. Many of them are made over and over again. Highly recommend. !

   Great for the newly diagnosed
Diabetes 2 recipes are in several cookbooks I ordered. I am most pleased with this one. I've made several of the recipes. They are easy to prepare, allow for more than one meal, and taste great. I have made chocolate zucchini muffins, turkey sausage, Turkey meatloaf, and beet-yogurt dip many times. There is a simplified explanation of Diabetes 2 in the introduction. This is a good book for people who have been diagnosed. A new diagnosis is a lot to think about. The book helps you simplify part of your life.
   Not for me
I ordered the book based on the positive reviews, but will be sending it back. Every recipe has a lot of ingredients and it takes a lot of time. I don't have the energy or desire to make meals that require a lot of ingredients.

I recommend this book to people who need to change their food choices, like me. It is difficult to come up with a good meal plan and choose the right foods because of the guess work. This book is a great source of information on how to prevent and treat diabetes and I recommend reading this book back to back.
