Shocking Unobtrusive. A true manga oddity.
Conceptually, this was so strange, yet so intriguing to me. Death Note is 13 volumes long and has 2300 pages. How-and why-did they make it all in one book? I began my trek to cover this cover to reading. Death Note is good for the story! The first half was at least half. But still, it is a good manga! As for the physical monstrosity, this is hard to read for sure and takes some getting used to. But don 't let me scare you. It was shockingly convenient, you just need a comfortable reading position. This is certainly not a book that you read while reading ; you are essentially forced to place it on your lap or at the desk while reading. That said, the paper was shockingly bleed and the ink was not strong enough. It did not hinder my experience in reading Death Note. Hey, give it a shot. At least, it will be a cool addition to your manga collection. Something to scare and to baffle all those who pull it off your shelf.

   Great value!
The book is a bit big, but considering that it is all 12 manga in one, and the great price it is awesome! More affordable, though, buying all 12 manga separately.

Amazing story and high quality manga!
I completed reading this a few weeks ago and I must say that it is an amazing story! Don 't worry about breaking the book, the quality is very good and sturdy.

   Worth every penny
At his request, I bought this book for my son, and he loves it. Everybody takes it everywhere and enjoys reading it.

I might just stick with buying them individually.
Straight to the point, the pros are that the paper quality has actually improved from the regular newspaper style paper manga. The sides and spine were intact and did not easily pick out by itself the thin paper and the thin spine. When it flips, it seems very stable. It is not the size of the usual Japanese comic book, but a mini-version. My first order, which came in today, came in a box but without air bags, filling peanuts or bubble wraps. The product was wrapped just by itself. I have previously worried about this, but hoped that due to the high demand, Prime Day was over-reacting. So the book - shelf cover was completely bent in from most sides and was so mistreated that even the book softcover's corner was smashed in as well. Seems like the only thing I could do is get an exchange, which is waiting for since it is currently out of stock. You decide whether it is worth it or not.

Amazing buy if you don't have any of the volumes
One of the best manga series ever published in a book?! This is worth the money bet. It was smaller than I anticipated, but looks great on the shelf!

Great price and good quality for what we're given
If I were to purchase this again, I would try to get this bubble wrapped because it was packaged in a box with nothing to stop it from spagging in there, but fortunately I was one of the few people who didn't get it with the corners bent out of it, so I am happy about that. Since there are about 2400 pages, they must be very thin so that when turning pages, but its not regular paper like most standard manga have, so that it won not tear as easily as thin paper, but is still extremely thin, so be careful. The spine is really thick for a paper back that is this strong. It doesn't seem to be rip when opening it all the way, but I just started reading it so i can not be for certain.

Another edition to an absolute Masterpiece.
I love Death Note '', both in the anime and in the manga. I already owned the original manga box set, but this edition was way too aesthetically pleasing not to get. I don 't know that I actually read the manga using this edition because of the size, but I did read the bonus epilogue chapter and thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, I'm very happy to add this to my collection. I also highly recommend reading the spin-off novels, Death Note Another Note The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases and L Change the WorLd.

The slip case was bent in one of the corners but it still works fine and looks great
From me, 4.8 stars. The slip case was bent in one of the corners, but it still works fine and looks great. I ordered this book as soon as I saw the advertisement for it and did not disappoint. The spine is surprisingly hard-wearing and the pages are glossy like a fancy magazine. If you are a fan of the Deathnote series, I recommend this 1110. When i got this and at the time it was 23.99, so you get pretty much 12 volumes and a bonus chapter for the price of 2 volumes. It does not take up much space, so if you have a small bookshelf for your manga, like i do, it is a great purchase! Cant wait for ALL IN ONE PIECE!
