   Not my favorite author!
There are too many characters in Karen Rose's stories. I like to keep up with the characters. Many of the characters are only mentioned once and have nothing to do with the developing story and I end up with a list with many names that don't matter. Although it doesn't go on and on, the sex part is more explicit than I would like to read.

A little romance is thrown in with Karen Rose's murder mysteries. The archaeologist who is helping police with history is also one of the next victims of a horrible killer, even though they struggle to find clues that will catch a horrible killer. As Vito and his partner lead the team to catch the murderer, they begin to think about a future together. After I read Karen Rose's most recent book, I read an older one. There is still a storyline that is interesting to watch. She does a good job with the way the story is told. When the killer's identity was finally revealed, I was surprised how close he was to his victim. Keep buying her books.

I didn't want to set this book down because I loved it so much. It did not bother me that other characters were being set up for their stories. It made me wonder how she would continue to build and beat this wonderful first book.

The 3 rd book in the series did not fail to impress. Karen Rose is the greatest. Minor characters from book 2 are the primary characters in book 3 Absolutely Great. You don't want to stop reading because there's so much going on.
