LOVE this book!
Derived From Web , Apr 18, 2021
My son is obsessed with all things truck-related. It has become one of our favorite books to read together. This is not a story, but rather a book of rhyming poems about different types of trucks, said Berryhill. The flexibility of the Kindle allows us to read the entire book in one sitting or just read a couple selections at a time. The rhymes flow well and are accompanied by charming illustrations. I highly recommend this book, especially if you have a child who loves reading about trucks and work vehicles, Waco Tribune reporter Bill Husa said.

Really Great Book
Derived From Web , Aug 18, 2020
My son is obsessed with any kind of construction vehicle, truck, or trailer, and I would like to give him a good education about safety. He's a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, but I admit I do like it as well. The writing is very clever and the rhymes are cute, too. The book is longer so it makes for a good storytime choice, he said. Each page can be read as a separate story, saving time if you don't have time to commit to the whole thing. I appreciate that the characters are both male and female, and that they are not all white. Some are even hers, he said. My son absolutely loves to find the doggy on each page. I never thought I would know what a skid steer is. And look at your mom!

Refreshingly written and fun to read!
Derived From Web , Feb 28, 2019
The book was my 2 1/2 year old daughter's favourite. We're all huge fans of Raymond's work, and we loved all the poems. I try to be conscious of buying books and toys for my daughter's interests rather than her gender, he said. It's a gender role that seems to creep into our lives in subtle ways and often go unnoticed. I'm ashamed to admit that a truck would be a she. Thanks for the tip, I'm glad I stumbled across this one.

So you'd think since this book has all of the aforementioned vehicles (except trains) that he'd love this book
Derived From Web , May 7, 2018
It was the perfect book for my 2 year old. Although his primary obsession is trains, he also enjoys trucks, construction and emergency vehicles. Now you'd think that since this book has all of those things that he'd love this book. Right now, he's just not able to sit through the lengthy text that comes with each page. Even though we're not all that great at reading, the illustrations are too cute. The actual writing is suberb, great rhyming that I'm sure he'll get a kick out of in another year, Bustin Rhymes said. I'm certain that Harry Potter will be a favorite for years to come.

A fun book about vehicles that makes you wonder "which truck would you like to be?"
Derived From Web , Apr 21, 2018
We came across Digger Dozer Dumper and thought it would be a fun book, the illustrated pages are nicely done and the rhyming verse description of the vehicle is also very good. A couple of months later he went and got it, sat down with it and, before we knew it, he chewed a piece of the corner off of it. In the year and a half that we've had Digger Dozer Dumper it's by far the most read book. Now that he's three, he is even starting to join in on the reading aspect.

The descriptions of each truck are a bit longer, so is a nice transition from typical board books. It's great to see that some of the trucks are female and some are male, too!

Best of the best - a must-have!
Derived From Web , Nov 30, 2017
I write for a living and can be hard to please when it comes to books, but this is one of the most well-written children's books I've ever stumbled across! The rhyming is superb, with smooth cadence and alliteration to boot. The illustrations are so appealing, I couldn't help but smile.

This is our favorite digger book
Derived From Web , Jul 3, 2017
We, as parents, siblings, grand parents, and care providers, are reading to our little people constantly. We want them to feel the world around them in a myriad of ways and reading is usually a home run. The book is very well written, the illustrations are gentle and kind, and the message is clear you can find positivity everywhere you look. Mr. Vestergaard brings the diggers to life without tension. She makes their world-class work exciting and explains their jobs well. My 2 1/2 year old son absolutely loves the book. He even has me making up songs to rhyme because they are fun, he said. Buy this book, it is a good environment to step into for you and your child, Melissa.

My 2 year old is obsessed with all things on wheels so this was the perfect book for him
Derived From Web , Mar 24, 2017
The book is a great read, said Frey. My 2 year old is obsessed with all things on wheels so this was the perfect book for him. The tells us a little bit about each machine,'' said Dr. Goin. The book is a little long and my 1 year old can't sit through it, so I would recommend it to an older toddler crowd. My 2 year old has learned so much and is constantly pointing out vehicles on the road and calling them their real names! One of our favorite bedtime reads.
