   My favorite is Boasts go
We bought the entire series, which includes trains that go, diggers go, planes go, trucks go and boats go. My son reads the trains and he absolutely LOVES it. We are planning to purchase a second copy of the trains on go. All the books have great drawings, as though the vehicles - trainsboats are actually moving and jumping out of the page. It is a wonderful series. The only book of the series that is no longer exciting than the other ones is the trucks. The entire series recommends highly!

Fun to read - an opportunity to get LOUD and EXPRESSIVE with your reading to your kid
It is just individual pages of different types of construction vehicles, but each page has sounds that you can make for the vehicles. He loves how much noise we can make when we read it, and I love swinging the book around to make the diggers jump in front of him. Over and over again, fun to read.

   What did you say?
I recently bought this for my 8 - mo old grandson who LOVES trains go. Our friend's son was shy and had his back turned to most of us. An adult, he did not know the book and began reading aloud. Each page is the phoenetic spelling in large varying sizes of the sounds that a vehichle makes. The young Jack turned to face the reader and then turned back. He turned to listen with every new reading of a page. When his mother returned downstairs, she reported that she had to read the book 3 times. The books are of good cardboard construction in a unique size. I would actually give it a 4.5 because my grandson really likes it, but LOVES trains go.

   My son's favorite book
The sounds are fun and realistic for the parent to read. And now he picks it up and can read it to me since he knows all the sounds produced by the various machines. The only issue with this book is that it is very deep and doesn 't fit on our other bookshelf, which is great for all his cheap board books. That's ok, though, since this lives next to the bedtime chair.

   These books ROCK!
I work at the library and do storytimes for babies and toddlers, and Steve Light's books ALWAYS go well with the littles! The bold sounds are easy to carry, and the fun letters and illustrations work perfectly with the long form of the book. I love the whole series!

My boys love this board book
I think that because they like to hear me, they try to make the crazy noises. A must have for any child of construction!

   My one year old's favorite
My one-year-old son loves this book absolutely. It is a very long and wide shape and has fun pictures of construction trucks and the sounds they make. It took a little skill to make the sounds, but it is worth it.

   Grandson Approved!
My two year old grandson loves everything with wheels, so that this was a great book. There are lots of sounds to make : The extra long size makes it also appealing to him.

Fun for any child who loves diggers!
My preschool loves this series of the books. They are full of fun sounds and words and my 22-month-old boy loves them. They are billed on a nightly basis by name. I highly recommend this series overall!
