Book Overview
When veggie-nibbling Grazers and meat-munching Biters take to the soccer field, it's a showdown of prehistoric proportions. Diplodocus shows an herbivore's soft touch and strikes first for the Grazers. But Gallimimus takes a pass from the twin Pterodactyls on the wings and finishes it off to even things up for the Biters. In the second half, Apatosaur scores the go-ahead goal for the veggie-side, but then a brawl results in red cards for both teams. Hungry to tie the game, Biter Allosaurus takes advantage. Now it's 2-2, setting up the teeth-gnashing, claw-curling final minutes. . . .

Love the whole series of dinosaur sports books by Lisa Wheeler!

My 7-year-old son loves this whole series of the books. There is football, baseball, basketball, hockey, wrestling and boarding. He has been buying them from the library and I'm getting them slowly as the right season comes up. It runs through a soccer game, explaining different parts of the game rules. It is paced from beginning to end and goes fast. From my adult perspective, I need to read several times through it to catch it all. Most of the time the dinosaur names are shortened, which also makes me double-think. Both of these seem better than me.

Best Grandma does it again

I just visited my three grandsons in Fort Drum, where they live with my daughter and their dad, who is stationed there. I took this book together with 3 others that I got from the library where I work. My elder grandson loved the books so much that I told him that I would find him his own copy of each book. I searched Amazon and they had all the books. Thank you Amazon, you made this grandma fulfill her promise.

Major hit with my nephews

I received Dino-Hockey for my nephews as a gift a few years ago and they are addicted to it, so I was psyched to find more Dino-Sport books. They absolutely love them and I am a big fan of books and reading, so anything that gets them excited about reading is a major win for me. Recommended for rambunctious boys who may appear to prefer video games and sports in general.

I really like this series of the books, my kids will read them all and I will have to grab each one as they lead into the next. My youngest son is into dinosaurs, so that this series is perfect for him. I would recommend this book to anyone who has children who like dinosaurs.

Although no one in our household are big soccer fans, we do love the Dino series books and had to add this one to the collection. It is a great read, my 7 year old has loved these books because I can remember a few and memorized, and we would read them so much. For a sports fan who enjoys dinosaurs as well, this is a must have book!
