Our favorite!

The book is our favorite. Every time we read it, we laugh and smile. When I was pregnant with our daughter, we started reading it to her before bed. Our favorite is the tiny little Dino that goes Cha Cha Cha.

My kids and grandkids love dancing. I had to add this book to our collection when I saw it on Amazon. Barnyard Dance is more popular than Dinosaur Dance among the grandchildren and even the one that loves dinosaurs will always choose Barnyard Dance over Dinosaur Dance.

I don't like this book. This one doesn't fit in with the other books I have. This one seems hurried. It's very short with about 6 pages and only 3-6 words per page. The first 2 pages of the book talk about the blue and red brontosaurus, but no other colors are mentioned after that. I would have given it more stars if they had kept it going with the colors. I gave it 3 stars because my 15 month old seemed to enjoy it, but I think it was more of my acting out the book he enjoyed than the actual words of the book.

Our son prefers mama to read other books to him but something about this book makes him refuse to let me read it to him even with funny voices. Dada is more fun than mama with this book. I don't try to read it to my child anymore. I don't do that, but his dad dances around the room with him while reading. The pictures are cute and my son is learning to love dinosaurs. It wasn't a gift since it wasn't worth replacing since my son is rough with his books.

My employer throws surprise baby showers for anyone expecting and I always buy gifts with no batteries. I don't know if batteries are an ongoing expense or if a family goes through financial struggles. Books are free to use, help bond through storytime, teach to read, and may spark an unending passion in a kid. Hopefully the child that gets this wants to teach dance.

Love the little board book

We have a lot of books by the author. They are simple rhymes with illustrations. My son and I added this to our collection because he is a dinosaur lover. It's similar to Barnyard Dance, but simpler. The board book is very cute. As my son reads it in the car, I can recite it from my memory.

Boynton’s style is unique, and not for everyone. Try at library before buying

You will either love or hate it. I have heard many people say how much they love the books. I don't understand it. The words are silly and there is no plot. I like stories that start, end, and use real words. The book ends abruptly. This is my 5th Boynton book and it is not better than the others. Don't let the dinosaurs convince you that this one is different, there are better books for your child.

Cute and Simple

This is a board book. We read 2 books before bed as part of my 4 month old's routine. I like that the pictures teach the scientific names of the dinosaurs and colors. We are only reading board books right now because he likes to slap at the pages when I'm reading.
