Great resource

We used it in our church and I got a lot out of it. It is like a reader's digest version of larger books on the theme. Short, to the point and easy to read.

Targeted toward pastors, but useful for laymen
Derived From Web , Dec 20, 2018
The following quotation sums up the book for me DisciplIng is doing what you usually do, but bringing people together with you and having meaningful conversations. The book fleshes this out by explaining what is expected to look like and then defining the how. This happens. It was very helpful to me.

great book
Derived From Web , Aug 2, 2018
Good, simple introduction to discipling. It is easy to complicate what is happening and in the book helps you understand how important this is as well as giving you some ideas to initiate discipleship relationships yourself. My only problem is that, although I consider it necessary to speak about the Church and Life, I felt that too much attention was given there and by the end of the book you almost wonder if this was written to the Elders and not to the New Christians.

Words of wisdom
Derived From Web , Oct 31, 2017
This book is full of words of wisdom, grounded in love for God and people. The truths contained therein are based on the word of God and are dependent on the Spirit's involvement to help others grow as they follow Jesus. I recommend this for any Christian, especially for those who are currently serving or desire to serve as leaders within Christ's Church.

Definitive read
Derived From Web , Jul 22, 2017
This book is powerful and short. I awarded it five stars because it painted broad strokes of theology and filled in smaller lines of practical theology. Here no caveats are mentioned. Every Christian is a disciple and we can all use some work on how well we are discipling.
