I'm not sure if parents who leave 5 star read the whole book. The book should be removed from the children's book store.

CAUTION!!!!
Derived From Web , Jan 12, 2020
My son doesn't like to read. He enjoyed reading the Dog Man books. I was initially ok with him reading this book because he was eager to read it. I didn't like how words were used in one of the books that I read to him. I didn't like the fact that the father cat belittled his son and yelled at him. The father and grandfather cat would do the same things. I didn't like how Dog Man was created, they cut off the dog's head and put it on a man's body. The book was very clear about it. My son is 7 years old and I don't recommend him to read this garbage.

NOTE OF CAUTION
Derived From Web , Aug 14, 2019
A note of caution for parents who are looking for a fun, light, even goofy book series for their childrengrandchildren. Dog Man was created when a cat planted a bomb and blew up a policeman and his dog. A policeman's head is cut off and replaced with a dog's head. Since this was a sealed box set, I decided to purchase the series on reviews and the author's Captain Underpants Series. Huge mistake on my part. I wouldn't have purchased the item if I'd known it was inappropriate for younger children. Not to mention the crude humor and horrible spelling. There are too many books for kids to read.

Easy trash read. Disappointed parent, happy kid.
Derived From Web , Feb 11, 2019
This series gets my child to read. I have to keep him from using fake words on his homework. They are garbage. Puke, farts and butt. That is the reason it is a hit with kids. I'm trying to find a replacement. A writer can make a killing on cheap and easy writes. He can push out a lot of these. I think he could achieve the same effect with a better product.

My son asks to read

My son struggles to read. He started asking to read when I gave him the books. If he is excited about a book, it is worth every penny.

My 10 year old son doesn't like reading, but the comic book format helped get him interested. He read 3 books in a week. That is a literary win. Looking forward to the next book!

Exactly what my son was hoping for
Derived From Web , Mar 3, 2018
Dogman and Captain Underpants are popular in the second grade at my son's school. There is an increase in the need for conversations about using polite manners. I like that these books have sparked a drawing frenzy in my child. Your kids will love them.
