We're huge fans of Nancy Reagan's books, and we love this baby book. It was the perfect present for our baby shower. I am so excited to read it to my daughter.

She cried!
Derived From Web , Feb 26, 2022
It was a surprise for the mom of two that she got this for her first Christmas. It was the only present she cried at the shower for. I cried prior to delivery because it's such a sweet gift for any expecting mom that has a baby on the way.. [and] I couldn't help but think about all the moms who have lost a child.

I know this is a kid's book, but it was so bad we had to return it. We accidentally purchased it but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised and thought we might as well keep it since we are expecting a baby soon and building her library, she said.

It's just that sweet. It has to be read at least twice a day. It's totally worth it, she said.

Beautiful, special book, even for non-dog owners
Derived From Web , Jan 16, 2022
My 2 1/2 year old son absolutely loves the book. And I'm pretty sure that my husband and I probably love it as much as he does. The book is full of witty one-line quips, the colors are so vibrant, the illustrations are beautiful and unique. It's great to be read by all the readers, said Sandra, "and we all hope that Beatrix will be back next year." A solid favorite, too.

Illustration perfection. Our 2 year old is uniquely into this one.
Derived From Web , Dec 30, 2021
The illustrations are great, the book is well-illustrated. Not too busy, or too ambiguous, like so many children's books. She won't let me turn the pages of this one until she inspects and calls out each item. She is very drawn into each page, even though the book is not finished. Also, a well-made board book will survive the playroom.

Great gift for dog lovers with a new baby.
Derived From Web , Dec 17, 2021
This book will appeal to parents of all dog lovers. Young children are mesmerized by my dogs. This book has short text for a young attention span, but it has real meaning. A French bulldog named Diesel compares himself to the infant in the voice of the dog. A book board with qualities of literature. His interest was piqued further when a character in the "Austin Powers" movies was revealed to be white.
