Awesome Book!

The book is great. I keep it in the car, if we are stuck waiting anywhere, it will be a lifesaver for my 5 year old. I got stuck in a store with my husband and she and I just curled up in a corner with this book and had a blast coloring and drawing. I will get a few more for my nieces.

Great Activity Book
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
My son finished the book in 2 days. There are many things to do. He reads the book that he wrote to us. Having some initial ideas helps when you don't know what to write about. The poster, the airport, and the map were all made by him. He asked for a second one after finishing the book. It is a great choice for birthday gifts and definitely something I would recommend.

Sturdy high quality paper and cute illustrations
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
It was bought for Grandma's house. Over a period of months, this has held their interest. We made finger puppets and put on a pigeon inspired show today. The paper and illustrations are high quality. Would recommend it to someone.

Great—for slightly older kids
Derived From Web , Nov 23, 2021
I bought this for my child a long time ago. It needed more help than I wanted to give. While she is off from school, she rediscovered it this week. Ali told her that she had to leave me alone and that I had to work. She went to work after she rediscovered the book. The activities are fun for her, but not very time consuming.

I ordered this for my son's seventh birthday because he wants to draw a comic book, and he loves the pigeon, and I am so happy he opened this. He did not put it down.

It keeps my son off the iPad!
Derived From Web , Nov 19, 2019
My six-year-old loves this book. I am amazed that he takes the initiative to work on it and has completed several projects on his own. It is difficult for me to get him to color and cut things because he doesn't like to do things like that. He enjoys doing these projects because he loves the pigeon. One of the activities is a book signing. He created a story about a boy who was lost in Hezekiah's tunnel in Jerusalem, but his friend the pigeon helped him get out. After cutting the tickets to the book signing, he invited his grandparents and us to the reading of the story and gave all of us an autograph! He followed the directions on how to give a successful book signing. He welcomed us, thanked us, read our story, gave us autographs, and shook our hands. This book is great for pigeon fans.

This book is HUGE and innovative!
Derived From Web , Jul 31, 2018
A big, heavy book with nice quality paper is what this is. It's not the brown paper that you get in a coloring book. There is a white background with greyscale and light blue graphics on the pages. I got my daughters each one of these because they love their pigeon books. If your child is not a reader yet, you should spend some time working on it together. There are many cutting, designing, and creative writing activities to keep an artistic kid interested. You should have scissors, tape, and crayons. There is a chance that the marker will bleed through. The pages are easy to tear out by a parent.

Amazing activity book that fosters creativity, NOT great for traveling!
Derived From Web , Oct 25, 2017
I like this book for my daughter. Kids make a lot of things, like their own books and posters. The activities give a lot of room for imagination and creativity. At five years old, my daughter needs help with some things. If you are willing to help, I find it appropriate. If you would rather have your child work on it on their own, I would suggest a little older. If your kids love Mo Willem's pigeon books but have never read them, they will love it. It's not the book for a road trip or airplane since you need to pull our pages, tape them together, have scissors, and large spaces.

Super thick with numerous activities

A thick with lots of activities. When kids are bored, there is huge help. Not just a coloring book and dot activities. We were not fans of the Pigeon series of books, but this one is awesome.
