Lots of Laughs!

My 3 and 6 year olds both enjoyed this book. With the help of this book, my 6 year old understood better of the necessity of going to bed on time, yet the message was portrayed in a humorous way.

We love that pigeon!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
The Pigeon and his attempts to drive the truck was a topic that my granddaughter and I enjoyed reading about. Daddy, Grandpa, and Mommy liked it. Autumn was going to read it on her own. Pigeon made some of the same excuses Autumn makes to stay up late as we heard in this story. We had a good time. This book is a whole family recommendation. Thank you for that!

Fantastic Book!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I tutor for a second graders. I bought the book to read with my student. The book is perfect for young readers. As we read, we had fun playing the character of the pigeon. The book helped me teach my student to read phrases instead of reading one word at a time. A book to practice reading with expression. The story and illustrations are captivating. The reading experience is enjoyable. Mission accomplished!

I don't know what to say about how much my kids love the pigeon books. Highly recommended. My older one can read it to the younger from memory.

Fun bedtime read!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
This is the same as the original. I've known the pigeon to be just as stubborn as any other preschooler in trying to get what he wants. The illustrations are fun and convey a wide range of emotion that you wouldn't expect from such simple drawings.

Wonderful kids book
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
This is a good book for kids. If you have been reading the series, you will love this book. You should try it if you are new to the series. My daughter liked the book. She wanted it because it has Knuffle Bunny on the cover. I think she liked the pigeon and his story after reading it.

Pigeon Series Rocks !
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I got this series for my two grandsons who are 7 and 5 years old. They love playing the parts in the book and reading back to me, but they also love hearing me read it. The fun of this is that it's enjoyable for both adults and children so I don't mind reading it over and over again.

Missed every possible mark
Derived From Web , Jun 3, 2021
Adults buy this book for kids because they assume kids share the same world view and context for humor. I didn't think it was clever as an adult. It was boring for my child. There is no flow to the language. The illustrations seemed a little rushed, considering how many books there are in the series. The pacing is too frantic and it's not a good book to read before bed. I don't get the appeal of this book. I'm including the books that came with chicken nuggets in the competition because it's the worst book in our collection.

Should have gone for New
Derived From Web , Feb 26, 2021
The book was labeled used very good. I bought it because of this. There was a sticky substance on the front and back of the book. The back cover has a big indent. I don't think the binding is going to last through a lot of reading, even though the inside is in great shape.
