Book Overview

An easy-to-read book about color, inspired by Dr. Seuss and illustrated with artwork from his books

This simple rhymed riff about color is illustrated with art from some of the most beloved--and colorful--works by Dr. Seuss, including The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. Great for the earliest reader, it is a perfect companion to Dr. Seuss concept books like Mr. Brown Can Moo Can You?, The Shape of Me and Other Stuff, and Dr. Seuss's ABC. Nurture a love of reading--and of the many colorful characters created by Dr. Seuss--with this great new concept book for beginning readers

Basic color identity with simple toddler terms.
Simple easy story, typical Seuss rhymes explaining colors and their relation to things with corresponding colors.

   Awesome
Seuss'books are wonderful! How can you go wrong with any of them despite recent reviews? They are fictional books and even small children can determine real from fictional. I would buy one of them for my grandchildren!

Page thickness & Colors are of poor quality.
This book is not up to the quality I expected from a book by Dr. Seuss. The pages are super thinnish and see the vein of the opposing side print, the colors are washed-out and the book is slightly smaller. As disappointed, as this was to be part of a baby shower gift.

Great book for 18 month old
My 18-month-old loves the Bright and Early books. It surprised me when she went to pick up this book and said colors '', and also knows the basic colors when asked. We have probably one other book with a color theme, so I would really recommend this book.

Dr.Suess Books never get old buy them for the new generation
Love Dr. SEUSS BOOKS NOW BEYING FOR MY new granddaughter Emmy, now 18 months old and loves to read a book. She does not tear Dr. Suess because I think she knows how great they are.

I have gifted the copies to my grandchildren and great grandchildren, but also ordered one for myself
On preorder, I bought several copies of this book. I have given the copies to my grandchildren and my grandchildren, but also ordered one for myself... I love Seuss and I love reading his books to my grands and great grandchildren. The book itself is cute, has colorful texts and is such a joy to read over and over again! Dr Seuss has been a long-time partner in helping me develop a reading habit in my 6 children, 16 grands and 4 great grandchildren! Every one of them enjoys reading on a regular basis! My cup has runneth over...

   Not Great
My daughter loved the characters of Seuss in this book, but I was very disappointed in it overall. It does not read like a well written book by Seuss. The colors it talks about are randomly discussed and not all the colors repeated so that it is not the greatest learning tool for colors. Just seems to be thrown together with the name of Suess and the characters to sell books quickly.
