This Description may be from another edition of this product.

Joshua never thought he'd return to the world of Nostos so soon. But when King Apollo needs his help in the Arrow Realm, Joshua's will and powers will be tested in order to save him. With Joshua's loyalties divided between our world and theirs, he wonders whether he alone can restore magic to the twelve powerless Olympian heirs, or whether he is being tricked into making the one mistake that might cost them all.

   Good for anyone!
In the book, I bought it for my daughter in the hope that it would introduce her to the art of drawing and help her to understand each step in creating a picture. It did! It helped her focus on the details and understand proportions. I highly recommend this book.

   Wonderful book!
I bought this book for my 6 year old twin girls. It's great to see people still talking about it. We are all learning to draw animals this way, Juergen Bammerman said. My granddaughters are huge horse fans and she drew a passable horse based on the instructions. Once you see how it's done, you can figure out how to use the same technique for different animals. Simply visualize the parts of the beast and the proportions of the parts to each other. Then, you can add the details using the coloured pencils. This product is highly recommended.

   Just the right one
It's exactly what I wanted, Mr. D'Antonio said. It's simple and basic, and the perfect way to get started drawing animals. There are very little text books which I find is a plus because I didn't want to spend money on a book that had pages of explanations on drawing tools and paper, Raymond said. The book is well-illustrated and has clear explanations of how to draw. It's a good place to start, and when I'm comfortable I can go to a more advanced book, he said. It's a good starting point for both kids and adults, Thibault said. Wish I could have done that when I was a kid.

Great book, he drawings look very good!
She has a difficult time focusing. This book is perfect for her because it chunks the drawing process into smaller squares. It's similar to how they help her in school, he said.

My 6 year old was able to use this!
My 6 year old just took right to drawing with these books. I was impressed with how well he was able to follow the steps so that his end product was recognizable as what it should be, said Darl McBride, IBM's executive vice president. My 6-year-old has not worked with the books yet but I plan to buy more for her birthday.

   6 steps for everything?
I am a good drawer and my son was very interested in how I do it, Mrs. Stackhouse said. Each animal requires six steps to draw. Some of them are all you need, but others are basically starting on what would have been step 3 for any other animal. Like the giraffe? Draw the entire giraffe body, neck and head, then add the bottom half of the legs. Turner said he was "100 percent behind George Bush" in the war. Giraffe has a new lease on life. If drawing a legless giraffe is so easy, why are there six steps to creating a goose? Also, things like belugas don't need six steps. Three steps: 1. draw an oval shape 2. give it fins 3. Still, it does teach the basics of observing the general composition of an animal to the untrained eye of one who would otherwise not know where to start.

   I'll be cool
Of course, I'm hoping my granddaughter will think I'm cool because I'm learning how to draw cute animals.

   Great price. Cute story
My grand children absolutely love these stories. I do too, said Blair. Even the thinnest of books will set you back a few quid.

   Well drawn out
The steps are broken down so easily that my 8 year old can follow them. I just wish they would have used a different color to differentiate between the current and previous steps.

The book does have some pretty good instructions, but I noticed that right before the last step it adds a lot of details. This is a good book for an older kid to follow, but not great for young kids. The book is a good introduction to the works of Paul Klee.
