Book Overview

USA Today bestselling author Debbie Mason welcomes readers to Harmony Harbor, a charming New England town that's full of heart

True love deserves a second chance.

FBI agent Michael Gallagher never dreamed that his job would bring him back to his hometown of Harmony Harbor. Or that one of his best leads would be the woman he once loved. Hell, the woman he still loves. He regrets the way they ended, and he'd do anything to make things right with her now. But first he needs to regain her trust.

Shay Angel wants to leave the past behind her. And that includes Michael Gallagher, the only man she ever let close enough to break her heart. But she needs his help to find her uncle and clear his name. She won't hesitate to risk everything to save her family, but will she dare to risk her heart all over again?

Bonus story A Fairytale Bride by Hope Ramsay

When a handsome stranger wanders into her bookstore one day, Melissa Portman begins to wonder if she's finally found her own happily-ever-after.

   O.M.G!
The books in this series are as good or better than the previous one. Michael and Shay's story is complicated and difficult because of Michael's mother's prejudice against Shay and his own insecurity. The ending is perfect! I want to know what happens to Maura!

   Driftwood Cove
I liked the story line. Just enough to keep you interested. I am getting to know this author. I liked her style very much.

   Ends abruptly
I have been enjoying this series, however I thought it ended abruptly, followed by a chapter from a previous book in the series, and then a story by another author. I read it on the computer. I wondered if I should purchase the next book in the series.

   Slow reader
I wouldn't buy it and read it a second time because of the slow chapters. It wasn't worth the read.

   Ok
Some of these books are ok, but I have loved some of them so much. It was one of those. It becomes hard to keep up with the characters and descriptions in the book. This would have been better spent on depth of emotion instead of an entire town of characters in one story.

Not two stories, and the one story wasn't even good.
The story was hard to read. Shay was kick ass most of the time, until she interacted with Michael. It was hard to believe that Michael was a successful lawyer, as he came across as a poor man. Would the FBI allow Michael to continue the investigation if he had a relationship with one of the suspects? It is very unlikely. As time went on, the mob, ghost, butler, and more made it less credible. I'm not sure why the title says two stories for the price of one, because there was only one story. People who received free copies of the reviews were the majority of the reviewers I read.

   A devourable read
Having a almost 2 year old does not make it easy to read a book in 7 days. At night and during nap time, I read. I devoured this book quickly. I want to go back to Harmony Harbor when the next book is done. The story took you on many twists and turns, wondering what would happen next. I would recommend this book to everyone.

   Fun reads
Shay Angel is an ex- con. She is in trouble again and the only one who can help her is Michael. His family betrayed him and now are trying to make it right. The good guys and bad are chasing each other. She will make you laugh like a crazy person. It is all about trust. I liked the ending. A Fairytale Bride was a good read. The land of the living was brought back to life by Jeff. Love an old bookstore and the love that develops between them. It didn't help that small towns were willing to interfere. You can only be free if the truth is true.
