Book Overview

Be Prepared to Meet the Author of Love

A child in trouble . . . financial stress . . . broken relationships . . . Is it possible to find God's heart when barriers seem to stand in the way?

We all face difficult times when we struggle just to keep looking up. For author Randy Kay, the challenge was extreme: He died. But at that juncture he met God and was restored to a life of joy he had never thought possible.

Kay had spent most of his adult years as a devout agnostic. Then one day, after an accident that ended his life, he met the One he had sought to disprove. From that time, though many challenges lay ahead, his sense of emptiness was transformed into genuine joy.

Through his own and many other riveting stories, Kay demonstrates not only that God is present when we need Him, but that our trials can actually lead us to true intimacy with the One who loves us beyond all measure.

Randy expresses the heart of Christ in a compassionate way few can deny.--DR. JIM GARLOW, New York Times bestselling author

Randy Kay explains how we can draw closer to God as He uses brokenness to draw us closer to Him. It all adds up to one compelling book that carries tremendous weight.--PASTOR TOMY BARNET, author; co-pastor, Dream City Church

Randy Kay is CEO of PACEsetters and chairman and CEO of TenorCorp. Kay has written for Forbes and the Wall Street Journal. His breakthrough research on thriving in life spans several decades, as he has uncovered practical ways to overcome trials. He lives in Carlsbad, California.

   Nice revelations
Really nice read. Though I would seriously hesitate to pick up such a book, I would just buy his new one called Revelations from Heaven. You get more revelations from jesus and more of his stay there, you can't help but wonder. This book seems to be more about the circumstances of his death and a few things he talks about in Heaven. And it really made me think about how much Jesus truly loves us, and how it's important to spend time with him. He is not out of obligation, but out of love and joy for our saviour.
   Not what I expected
I was hoping to hear more about Jesus and being in Heaven, rather than having bible verse after bible verse thrown at me. I really wanted to hear more about the experience of being in Heaven, Tunick said. I think the book could do without the constant reference to the Lord.
The twins were born in 1974 and 1975 and lived in the US for 20 years.
   God’s purpose & understanding.
The book is very well written and the individual life experiences are true and very real, Morgenthau said. I know the author and family personally and can confirm that the story is true. Randy is a blessed man that God is using him for His work, Graham said. My wife and I have elected to read the book together. Each reading reveals a great deal more about God's purpose in us.
   Wonderfully Courageous
Imagine how difficult it must have been for the author to pen this book. Randy describes his near death experience in a genuine manner that I can visualize quite clearly, as if it happened to me, he said. This book gives me hope to look forward to happiness beyond the limits of earth and space, he said. I'm looking forward to reading his other books, too. To say that you've been through a lot is a serious understatement. Thanks for sharing what happens next.
   Relevant and powerful
It's my opinion, that in the West, we are good at a lot of things, but not good at the idea of suffering, he said. As believers, we have a wonderful theology about victory, prosperity and healing, and those are all a part of the gospel, and we are on our journey with God, he said. Randy does an incredible job, talking about real life experiences, and brings to light, from his own encounter, the hope of eternity with Jesus, he said. He also tells us how we can learn from suffering, and the fruit it produces, embraced when we meet Jesus. This is something we don't hear a lot about, and I believe this is a very important and timely topic for the American Church today, he said.
   A wonderful witness
In "The Whole Nine Yards," Kay shares his personal experience of dying and meeting Jesus in heaven. He said that "ever present" is God's unfailing love for us, and His desire for personal and intimate relationship with each of us.
   Incredible Experiences!
He also tells his amazing story of being in Heaven, but also has many wonderful stories of other people meeting Jesus in their own unique way.
