Beautiful cookbook with delicious recipes!
Derived From Web , Jan 20, 2022
I already have 20 recipes in my book. While the book itself is beautiful, the recipes are equally amazing. While filling, Bruno says, "the light bulbs stand out like diamonds." The photographs are stunning, the book says. Easy peasy, the kids say. It favors some ingredients such as sweet potatoes, cauliflower and cilantro, but I still find it to be my go-to. My favorites are the Palak Tofu, Plant Based Pho, Bento Box Sushi Bowl and the Sweet Potato Chickpea Burgers, she said. This book will get a whole lot of use in the kitchen.

This is the way of the future!!
Derived From Web , Aug 2, 2021
This book is a must read, because Ayurveda is the way of the future, says Shubha. As a collective we are beginning to realize the fast pace, tech-focused community, overprocessed food and sedentary lifestyle are making us sick and sad. Science is starting to prove that ancient practices are relevant today. I'm a physician and started incorporating Ayurvedic principles with my patients and we have been able to decrease the use of medical grade pharmaceuticals that have terrible side effects and long-term negatives, Dr. Goin said. My patients are happier, healthier, and more importantly, educated and empowered.

So much more than just a book of recipes
Derived From Web , Apr 4, 2021
Second, my heart belongs to the roasted cauliflower and lentil tacos with tahini on chapatis. There is just so much nomnom in this book it's hard to choose which recipe I want to make because I could be craving a bowl of soup and then just happen to have my eye catch one of the chakra soups. And here is the thing, I'm not a recipe book kind of gal, I'm just total Vata Dosha in the kitchen. You often end up cooking with no idea what the result will be, and like it that way, Mrs Hughes said. She is so spot on with so much in this book, and I love it. And I think that's why I love these tasty recipes even more because she sets you up to be able to experiment with flavors and make each recipe your own.

BIG Eat Feel Fresh Fan!
Derived From Web , Jul 23, 2020
The second book was also very good. I've been listening to the Sahara Podcast for months and knew I needed to order this book. It was such a great deal, I literally stayed up until midnight reading the entire thing. The mini quizzes to help you discover your vata in the kitchen, or what foods you're eating, are so helpful with truly aligning food with body and mind. I’ve read a negative review about how this book is personal to Sahara versus a historic Ayurvedic system and I am thankful that she has made it this way, said Michael Greenhill, director of The Institute for Integrative Medicine. The Boudins are highly recommended if you're looking for a balanced and beautiful cookbook.

Pretty book with not much depth
Derived From Web , Dec 12, 2018
Great photos, but maybe some positioning of Indian names totally out of place on occasion with the photos complimented it and the names, I was pretty confused. I am from India and was hoping for more recipes adapted for the daily lifestyle here but it seemed more like a memoir of a personal journey of discovery through food and photography. It's an attempt to take something raw, honest, meaningful and useful and turn it into something glamorous and failing at it,' said Dr. Ankita Misra, of the National Institute of Health Sciences. The true meaning of Ayurveda is that it brings together all the ancient wisdom and brings it into a whole system. However, I am not sure if the reader can determine what is shared by himher in daily cooking.

This book helped me go back to eating plant-based
Derived From Web , Oct 18, 2018
I was vegan for YEARS, then switched it up to keto and something wasn't right. It wasn't that it was meat or plants, but finding Sahara's first book, The Idiot's Guide to Ayurveda and then this one, I was back to enjoying more plants as a diet again! Fussy drove me away from a plant-based diet, but this one helped bring back all the green goodness. It's a book that will stand in a class by itself.

Will cherish this book forever!
Derived From Web , Oct 10, 2018
THE BOOK IS LIFE CHANGING. As a registered nurse, it has been an incredibly eye opening to watch Western medicine take over the practice of Ayurvedic medicine. Not only do I get to educate my patients on how to take better care of themselves via DIET, but I get to do it in a fun and interactive way. After reading this book, not only was I inspired to go to the store immediately and pick out a recipe to make, I was also inspired to get more education so I can also make an impact on our planet, said Dr. Goin.
