I cannot say enough good things about this book
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I can't say enough good things about this book! The pictures are pretty. It's so cute to hear my toddler say things like Rhubarb and Persimmon. When she's over the scary food toddler phase she might be more inclined to try new foods if she reads this book.

I teach American Sign Language to my 16 months old son because he likes to see vegetables and fruits with their signs. Their painting is cute.

he might know aspargus, but he still won't eat it
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I got this book to help my two year old be familiar with food, not the food in most kids books. He knows the foods he eats, like bananas, carrots, lettuce, and even ones he won't eat, like asparagus, strawberries, and corn on the cob. It was unrealistic to expect a book to make him like new vegetables, but I don't want it to kick that he has been in for several months. I know this phase will not last forever. The book has a large collection of fruits and vegetables for any baby in training. The illustrations are appealing. My son loves seeing all of the foods that he knows and connecting them to his ABCs.

Wish They'd Eat Their Veggies
Derived From Web , Feb 29, 2020
The kids love the book and the artwork is beautiful. It would be a perfect book if it inspired children to eat their vegetables. Kids learn to name things that they don't like to eat.

Recommend purchasing in hardcover
Derived From Web , Jan 5, 2020
There is a cute book. I have trouble pronouncing some fruits. It is fun but not my baby's favorite book. I would not recommend a baby for an older child. I would have gotten a hardcover for when the baby is older, not a board book.

Bright, colorful
Derived From Web , Oct 13, 2019
It introduces students to a wide range of other foods, but some can be difficult for younger students. The j sound is not pronounced in the traditional sense, so the food for J is jalapenos and jicama. It is a board book and I like that.

Every toddler should have this book!
Derived From Web , Aug 3, 2019
This is a book that is easy to read. It is an alphabet book with pictures of food. My son has never been a great eater. The book helps encourage him to try new foods and not feel pressured in a high chair.

Includes lots of vegetables and fruits
Derived From Web , Jul 10, 2019
A cute book! It has a variety of vegetables and fruit for the letters of the alphabet. I will have to find them and try them because I didn't recognize some of them. When I read the pictures to my baby, she likes to look at the colorful ones. As she gets older, we hope it will encourage her to try a lot of different foods.

A great and multipurpose way to learn the alphabet for girls and boys(& parents)! 😀
Derived From Web , Oct 2, 2018
Our 18 month old points to items and names them. The idea of connecting the alphabet to food names was a great one. A child gets to see and try something new, not just the standard A for Apple! Each letter has more than one word with it, and is shown in upper and lower cases. A durable board book is used and enjoyed a lot.
