This book provides everything players and Dungeon Masters need to play Dungeons & Dragons in Eberron--a war-torn world filled with magic-fueled technology, airships and lightning trains, where noir-inspired mystery meets swashbuckling adventure. Will Eberron enter a prosperous new age or will the shadow of war descend once again?

- Explore Sharn, a city of skyscrapers, airships, and noirish intrigue and a crossroads for the world's war-ravaged peoples.

- Include a campaign for characters venturing into the Mournland, a mist-cloaked, corpse-littered land twisted by magic.

- Meld magic and invention to craft objects of wonder as an artificer--the first official class to be released for fifth edition D&D since the Player's Handbook.

- Flesh out your characters with a new D&D game element called a group patron--a background for your whole party.

- Explore 16 new race/subrace options including dragonmarks, which magically transform certain members of the races in the Player's Handbook.

D&D fans : Get this as soon as you can!
An amazing world setting with detailed factions, great mix of steam punk and high fantasy, and adventure ideas galore.

   Quality hardback book
It was bought for a grandson. I gave it five stars because of his ecstatic reaction when he opened it.

   Content Overload!
I'm always skeptical about campaign setting books that are just outlines of a new world with limited options and rules. A new official class, four new races, 12 Dragonmarks with new sub-races, a complete lore dive and in-depth world explanation, an entirely new patron system, and dozens of new magic items are all included in this. Even if you don't care about the world of Eberron, this book is worth the price for players and players alike.

   Update for 5th Edition
The Eberron Campaign Setting is where I like the most. This setting is updated for the 5th edition. The book is fairly heavy and doesn't offer a lot of new lore for old lovers of the setting. The questions from 3.5 to 5E have been big. The new patron system is an amazing addition to the adventures and gaming of Eberron, and I am very happy about it. I'm looking forward to seeing a new group of players entering the setting.

   Worth it
This is for warforged. I was blown away by this. The players handbook has bits of the dms guide 2.0. It's a good purchase. The next class will be the articfer. All the modules would be worth it on their own. I love all the variations. This one blew me away after I was disappointed with the ghost of the saltmarsh.

Nice update of the Campaign World to 5th Edition rules.
I have every item that has been published on Eberron. A nice update to the new rule set and another strong showing in the series. There are changes. I like the update of the Artificer and look forward to incorporating it into the 14 year long campaign I've been running.
