Lots of great information

I bought the book for my class. I like how it's loose since I don't have to carry around a heavy textbook. The text book has a lot of information and aids to help students better understand it. I' ve seen the hardcover version of the textbook, and it depends on what you' re looking for. The loose cover is harder to sell than the more expensive one. If you plan to keep this text book and don't mind putting it in a three ring binder, I would go with loose leaf. The hard cover version is more sturdy than the rough version.

Good but lacks practice problems

This book is used at my school. The book has good explanations of a wide variety of ecology- related topics, but it does not have any real practice problems, which is a real downside. My professor didn't give me access to practice problems on the book's website for my class.

It was a perfectly functional book aside from the fact that you look like a dingus trying to study in public

It came with a binding on the book that was upside down so that when you opened it, the text was upside down. You look like a dingus trying to study in public, but it was a functional book.
