Surprisingly Poor Quality for a National Geo Product
This map is inaccurate with a surprising amount of detail and a lot of what is there is missing. There are many missing roads and towns that are fairly important and would have to find on a map offered by National Geo. About half of all the roads we took had numbers on the map indicating that they were not the numbers of the actual roads. It is OK for finding your way from one part of the country to another if you are using public transportation and leaving the driving to someone else. If you plan to drive a car and rent around the country, this map can cause you to become seriously lost. Use it to buy your trip, but once you arrive in the country, plan a better map.

Great map for a tourist with a bit more depth
Best map I found for our touring around Ecudaor, and goes a little deeper than a single planet type of tourist map. Hpwever, for Spanish navigation by map, get a real map of the language that will make a great pointie-talkie if you are not handy with Espanol. We found the best combo is this map, the Spanish map, our GPS and a scattering of Espanol knowledge will always provide a firing solution for the day's excursion.

Do Not get this map. It is outdated
Does not show the location of the new airport Quito. I also found the map bulky and difficult to fold for specific areas and usage. I regret receiving this map.

   Disappointed with Shipping.
I have to send my packages to Mailbox Etc. Then forwards someone to me, of course for a fee. I have 3 maps ordered. I purposely ask objects from the same store and place all items together hoping it makes things easier... I get 2 huge bubbles, why is it so difficult! Exactly as I expected. That is why I give 5 stars... for the product.

   Okay, But Lacking Detail
The house is furnished with a Victorian style house. Nat Geo maps may be water-proof, but the detail level is poor. Also check when old is updated, as some are last.

   Unfortunately, is on two sides
This is probably a great travel map, with updated roads and such. But it was expected in size, but cuts the country into halves. I wanted to make a wall map. This probably fits the bill for travellers using a road map. It is lightly plasticized for durability, but makes it bulkier to handle and fold.

Not the best map, but there is nothing better out there.
This is the only version available that is not a topo map of the hikers.

SAME ON THEM!!! Don't you dare buy this useless...
Many of the MOST MAJOR roads in the country are misnumbered!! Roads are shown to not exist. Major roads that exist are not shown. Yes, I was there and I couldn t believe it! If not a single additional person buys this map, then it will be too many!! REALLY? If you read this, Nat Geo is shame on you! For my refund, contact me!
