This is my number one recommended book! I was recently asked to name a book that I would recommend to anyone and this was it! She's a great writer who writes very hard subjects matter of factly and clearly. I couldn't put this down and after reading spent time researching Tara Westover and her family, trying to see if this unbelievable story was true. It is a tragic but uplifting story about overcoming enormous obstacles and making sense and reconciling with her very difficult childhood. I have been recommending this book to everyone for years, all adults men or women, and will continue to recommend it.
Amazing book. I’ve already loaned it out to friends!
One of the best books I have read. Also one of the most after titles in my circles. Planning to buy 20 fo my book club.
