This is my number one recommended book! I was recently asked to name a book that I would recommend to anyone and this was it! She's a great writer who writes very hard subjects matter of factly and clearly. I couldn't put this down and after reading spent time researching Tara Westover and her family, trying to see if this unbelievable story was true. It is a tragic but uplifting story about overcoming enormous obstacles and making sense and reconciling with her very difficult childhood. I have been recommending this book to everyone for years, all adults men or women, and will continue to recommend it.
