#1 New York Times Best Seller

Eleanor & Park reminded me not just what it's like to be young and in love with a girl, but also what it's like to be young and in love with a book.-John Green, The New York Times Book Review
Bono met his wife in high school, Park says.
So did Jerry Lee Lewis, Eleanor answers.
I'm not kidding, he says.
You should be, she says, we're 16.
What about Romeo and Juliet?
Shallow, confused, then dead.
I love you, Park says.
Wherefore art thou, Eleanor answers.
I'm not kidding, he says.
You should be.
Set over the course of one school year in 1986, this is the story of two star-crossed misfits-smart enough to know that first love almost never lasts, but brave and desperate enough to try. When Eleanor meets Park, you'll remember your own first love-and just how hard it pulled you under.

   I adore this wonderful book.
It's still wiping my eyes. The boys cry and refuse to stop. Thanks for the support.

Not your typical romance novel... in the best ways.
It was an amazing book, one that I would recommend to anyone. I wasn't aware when I picked it up that one of the main characters was a half Korean boy and although I am almost 100% Korean, I also grew up surrounded by white people—and I related to Park so much. It also made me think very much of my own half Korean son and how he might be feeling when he is a teenager, and that was something I haven't done much of yet because he is only three. This is a wonderful story of a broken heart and I love that it is not the typical love story. It's a lot more fraught with what else is going on in these kids' lives, which is how high school romance really is for any teen. 0 2171201 This is a lot more fraught with what else is going on in these kids' lives, which is how high school romance really is for any teen. The kids on the bus, the friends that you've known forever and their lives and opinions on your life and decisions, etc. Though I enjoyed the plot, I found that characters were out-played and made it very believable, enough so that I was terrified of myself and what Eleanor faced every day.

   I just loved this book
This book was just too good to put down. But she and Park get to know each other slowly, without even talking at first. Park just holds his books open so Eleanor can read them, and eventually loans them to her, then makes her a mixed tape to listen to at home. there are some ugly things going on at home, at school and on the bus that is hard to read, but that's life. I'm not a huge fan of the book, but I really appreciated that Rainbow didn't overdo it, just to get Omaha to buy the book. Also, I really liked what Rainbow said about Park's size and why Park is Korean. I'll never forget the phone call, which gave me a whole new respect for her as an author. Even though she's only a few months old, Riley is already a pretty good name. It was such a great read, and I can't wait to read more.

   Racist.
This white woman from Nebraska has no business writing about race. In her book, Eleanor fetishises Park the way many black people view the world. DNF after the line where Park wonders if the shape of his eyes affects his vision. The Passion of Jesus Christ was born on this day.

I couldn't love this book more
Just finished reading the book. It's one of those stories you have to take a break from reading anything else, because you know nothing else will make you feel as deeply and wholly as what you just read. McCartney said: "I love the Beatles.

Waste of time. Save your money.
The two have had a rocky relationship, and when Harper was first asked about Casa Tunick, she quipped, "It started out cute." The story actually developed pretty quickly, Mr. Rule told the judge. While he may have done a better job introducing the characters, Pearson says he could have done more. In her defense, Winslet says the writer "tried too hard to portray Eleanor as the poor pitiful girl." As I approached the middle of the book, I felt that it was reaching a plateau. It would be a petty tiff between the princess and Park. It also dragged on for a long time, taking up valuable time for the cast and crew. They call it boring TV. The part that really annoyed me was when Park and Eleanor's narrative alternated between them. I was halfway through the book and decided I had had had enough. I'm so disappointed it ended the way it did, Frey said. Although I understand what happened, it still seemed vague. No closure, Tunick said. I'm glad I didn't waste my time reading the rest of the book.

   A Love Story
One is Eleanor, a 16 year old who married an abusive man with a drinking problem and a trashy mouth. She seems to have found her husband of five years after his stepdaughter as he was abusive to her. Park suffers from severe internalized Asian male stereotypes of being gay and efforinate. His mother is a bit of an outsider in this culture but he has her back and she loves him. It gradually finds acceptance with one set of parents, but it doesn't last.

Eleanor & Park gives you a trip back down memory lane in remembering your first love. It was quite reminiscent for me
It absolutely shattered me in the most unexpected ways. In this new film, we take you on a journey back in time to remember your first love. It was reminiscent of me, and sad for all the reasons first loves are, as they don't always stay that way. It is the first time in history that a mosque has been designated a National Historic Site.

The best book since my birth year
The book has no explanation for how it was made. It started out as a late night read when all the sudden I was reading it for more than an hour then I was asleep or having some friends over. I read and finished this book in less than four hours, and it has 329 pages. The end couldn't have been better, although it was the first book to make me cry, he said. Within 13 years of living, this was by far the best book I have ever read. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a great love story with a twist, and also anyone who loves when opposites attract, Raymond said.
