Perfect for early Sesame Street fans - but where is Snuffy?

The bright sided and tabs are great visual reminders of what name goes with which monster. The cover is pillowy, so it's nice to touch little children. I got this for my two-year-old and he gets a kick out of it. I wish I would have bought it if he was younger, because I think he would have loved it. Since he's kind of getting out of board books, I'm not sure how long he'll continue to refer to this one, but since he likes Sesame Street, it'll be on our shelves for awhile. My only complaints are that they 'd have Baby Bear instead in the book, rather than Snuffy. I also wish there was a little more info on each character. But otherwise, it is a great deal to Sesame Street characters.

Great book for the little Sesame Street lovers. Well written, but still simple. Love that the character pictures on each page are actual pictures of real-life characters, not cartoon drawings.

We watched together 1 episode per day. He became very enamored with all characters, especially Elmo and Abby. I got this book and he LOVED it. He likes mainly flipping through the pages and pointing to his favorite characters and saying their name. He is a little older now and isn't quite as interested in, but he still pulls it from time to time to look at his friends.

This is a beautiful book if your child likes Sesame Street. It has lots of beautiful photos and kept the 2 year old in the car for about 20 minutes by herself. The words are not a story, but introduce each character instead. My five year old also likes to look at this book, but it isn 't one we read aloud together.

My LO is on an Elmo kick and loves to read “Dirt & Read and thought this would be a good treat for him, but he grew bored quickly. His other books are interactive by comparison with flaps and touch 'n feel and pop outs. This may be ideal as a first reader, but not for a 18 mos old book.

Great book to learn about all of the popular characters!

A great book for our 17 month-old daughter to read about all her favorite Sesame Street pals. It has also been great for all her caregivers to learn the name of everyone! Each page introduces a different character, showing their picture and containing some fun facts about them. In addition to the characters on the cover of the book, Elmo's Goldfish depicted are Zoe, Baby Bear, Dorothy, Murray, Ernie, Bert and Telly. It is nice that it is an current book that features all the popular figures on the show right now. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that I feel that the tabs of the book are not well constructed. After just a few days of use, the last tab has dissolved, wrinkled, and started to peel. The other tabs are already showing their wear.

Love Elmo's Friends!

We have to read it almost every night before the bed. My son has certain books that he likes better than others and this was immediately one of those books. The illustrations are good, the text is short enough to read and good enough that he doesn 't lose interest. It is a board book too, which holds up much better with an almost two-year-old than paper books!

When it arrived, I did not like this book. It seemed to me like odd descriptions of the characters. But my 1,5 year old girl can 't get enough. She is too young to watch an actual episode of Sesame Street, but loves this book!

The book was described as described and was very colorful with great illustrations. But it was shipped in an envelope and when I opened it, the corners of the pages were bent and even though it was new brand, it already looked beat. This was particularly annoying because I bought it as a gift.

My daughter loved it absolutely. I love how it includes all the Sesame Street main puppeteers. The board book itself is very sturdy and has stood fine against her chewing and rooling and rough handling. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who is looking for a book by Sesame Street.
