Book Overview

Crystals contain ancient power--and with the right knowledge, we can tap into it. The Encyclopedia of Crystals puts this information in your hands in the form of an illustrated compendium to all types of crystals.

Crystals aren't simply stones; when the right crystal is used appropriately, its power can physically heal, invigorate, cultivate love, and even boost creativity. In The Encyclopedia of Crystals, crystal expert Judy Hall draws on over 30 years' experience of working with crystals to provide the definitive reference.

Organized by crystal color for easy reference, The Encyclopedia of Crystals:

  • Explains how the colors of crystals relate to the chakras
  • Shows you how to cleanse and activate your crystals
  • Provides helpful, authoritative advice on healing, meditating, energizing, and more with nothing more than the power within your crystals
In this lavishly illustrated encyclopedia, you will also find information on crystal history, geology, and chemistry, as well and newly discovered stones.

This is an essential addition to the library of anyone who works with crystals.

   Comprehensive, great one-stop shop
I'm very pleased with the book. I had been debating on the Crystal Bibles, 1 Corinthians, 2 Timothy, and 3. I had no intention of creating a sequel, but wanted one book. The book arrived on time and was also delivered. The photography is beautiful and I like the color scheme of the envelopes. The index is based on the names of the companies listed on the exchange.

   Judy Hall = Crystal GOAT
This book is by far the best. You can look up the name of a stone or something you want help with or manifest. My best friend was also my idol, she loved me so much!

Not the information I was looking for.
nan It's just that people think it helps with everything from headaches to arthritis. I would send it back if I did not get it cheaper.

   Must Buy This Book!!!
Thanks to Dr. Chester Floyd for this useful reference. I haven't found all the stones, so that part is a bummer. The book has been worth every penny of publisher Penguin's investment. Buyers have been able to choose stones by their situation, he said. Now I look up stones, taking photos of them to send to my customers, so they have information on stones I've sold. In addition, I have gone through the entire book, writing down names of crystals that I am interested in, by the symptoms I have or situations I'm in.

Easy to navigate, with great pictures
I just got the book and I already love it. I've got The Book of Stones, which is very in-depth, and informative, but the Encyclopedia of Crystals is the perfect companion. The descriptions are just enough of an overview to not overwhelm you with too many details that you end up forgetting things. I think it would be great for beginners looking to learn crystals for the first time as well. Glad I picked it up, said Blair.

A great book for those who love crystals and want to know more!
I've read the entire book, and I'm in love. It's how great you can look at a stone by color, Tunick said. Very informative and well-researched book. Lots to learn and see, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

Judy Hall is one of my favorite sources for understanding crystals
Judy Hall is one of my all-time favorite teachers. Even if you think you know everything, she writes in a way that is easy to understand. Clear pictures of the stones will help to identify them.

Getting More at a Great Price
A beautifully organized collection of photographs by master photographer Frank Trejo. Even with owning all three of the crystal bibles, this is still a worthy purchase. Informative, up-to-date information.

   Amazing crystal encyclopedia
It's a must have when trying to get to know your crystals. It's the best out of all the books I have encountered. If you do not have this on your collection, you have to get a copy. Professional chef Wolfgang's Supper is a passionate foodie. Please see pictures and video attached to this product so you can see this is a must have encyclopedia.

No index. VERY difficult to navigate.
A great book. No one has come to grips with the problem. The stones are arranged in a row by color, not name. So unless you know a lot about the stones you are referencing or feel like flipping through fifty pages to see that its not represented. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask the Crystal Bible. Also by Judy Hall, but with a TOC that lists the stones by name so you can actually find them in the book.
