Protect your heart, this book will show you how!

This book was so eye opening and truly life changing for me, Melissa. When a friend of mine gave it to me, I wasn't even aware that I needed it. As I read it, I realized that this book did apply to me in areas I wasn't even aware of. However once I was aware of the book and its stories, the book and its stories helped me to sort out the maladies of my heart and know how to keep them at bay going forward. Well written, well-illustrated and well-written, with great examples of how the Scriptures relate to current life, Morgenthau said. This book is one that teaches without being Preachy and teaches lessons that can only make one life more peaceful, happy, and lighter, Thibault said.

Simply Brilliant!

As a parent of three teen girls, I especially liked the chapter on asking your kids once a week how their heart is. As parents we remind our kids to brush their teeth but never think to ask if their heart is clean. Infidelity aside, we put in place some pretty impressive debt-to-debtor stipulations that made our relationships work. As a counselor, every single one of my care receivers has said this book has been almost a tremendous help!

3 1/2 Stars

The last chapter of this book made me lower my score by 12 stars. Andy Stanley has all but killed the four problems that can hinder growth. At the end of the interview, he talks a lot about his children and uses a holier tone than thou. He lost me at the very end, Tunick said.

I love this book!
Derived From Web , May 15, 2021
I purchased the book at a friend's recommendation, and she was reading it with her book club. It was a lot of fun, said Blair. Practical solutions to many of the thorniest issues of the heart can be found in the book. Thanks to the author for illustrating how easy it is for us to ignore or overlook the things that often destroy individuals and relationships. This book is a great present for someone you love or especially the young. I think its going to change the world.

Game changer
Derived From Web , Feb 18, 2021
This book has opened my eyes on different perspectives of matters of the heart that i would normally discount or not correlate with what Andy has said. I learned so much about what experiences lead to a toxic and malfunctioning heart, Raymond said. Its incredible how the author made life's situations stand out in the 4 enemies of the heart that i would never have been able to do myself, he said. Even though I'm not normally Christian, I have some talking to do with God. I'm grateful for this book and to get my heart back healthy so that i can revive the loving relationships around me that were failing, she wrote. Andy Warhol's portrait hung in the Cincinnati Museum of Art. Thanks for all the love, said Harper. I pray that i meet you one day to shake your hand. Ashley H. Mills, 34, died Sunday at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Darien, N.Y.

Simon and Schuster are delighted with this book. Four problems of anger and jealousy have controlled my life for far too long, Blair said. This book revealed great transformation in each of these areas in one fell swoop, I would recommend it to anyone who struggles.

If you’d like to use God as your scapegoat, this book is for you
Derived From Web , Dec 24, 2020
The book is a weakly written attempt at a self-help book, that would be better used as material for Sunday church. It barely touched on the issues, doesn't use any psychology about them, and the effective answer is because "God told you to." If you're okay with the answer to not being angry because God told you to, then maybe you'll like it, he said. But if you want any kind of substance on how to address negative emotions and feelings, this book is not for you.

I chose to read this book with 5 stars because Stanley has a way of not only writing excellent books but also talking directly to the person who is reading. Andy Stanley's writing style is direct, he talks directly to the person that is reading the book.
