   The tough decisions come...
I think I'm playing catch up, he said. It seems some months have passed since Max's attack, with no reallocation of funds. Now the two older sisters, Emily and Navin, are being given tough decisions that they must face on their own. After Max's memory has been cleansed of the amulet voice's curse, Emily must find a way to help him become free. Now she must help Max face his memories of the Purple One. He is tasked with the job of cleaning up the streets of Lucien City and returning them to their rightful owners. Along with putting a stop to the encroaching, parasitic shadow creatures, Mr. Caramore added. He and his fellow students must find a way out of this problem. It looks like the Hayes children will have to find their way to the heart of the problem in the Elf Kingdom of Valcor.

My son reads these over and over again.
I had difficulty instilling an appreciation for books and reading in my son until he discovered his appreciation for graphic novels. There are six books left to go, Simon says. A seventh child was born this month. The seventh is available on pre-order. There will be a dark cloud over the house until my 9-year-old can get his hands on the ones that follow, he said.

More like a cartoonish comic strip than graphic novel
My son has a soft spot for the Amulet series, but not so much for the Explorer books. Like a cartoon strip, this book is a work of fiction.

   amulet series
Good luck with the rest of the series. It had a lot of suspense and adventure over all a good graphic novel series until the last book that's when they leave you on a cliff hanger and they still haven't made a book 7, Hughes said.

   AWESOME BOOK
Because it has action, adventure and danger, this book is cool. Max was actually 12 when his parents brought him home, because the stone magically turned his real age.

   Great for reluctant readers
My son and his peers follow the show religiously. I think he's been asking for it since early this year. We also gave away whole sets of sets as birthday presents, they were all well-read.

   Fabulous series!!!
A great story told with great illustrations by Frank Quattrone. Awesome for both young and old, Hasbro said. I've fallen in love with Japanese anime.

   Good Book
This is a good book because it is where the pilots escape the clutches of the evil ghosts that have taken over the city of Lucien. This book is recommended by me if you like adventure and don't forget to read the other books in the series.
