Great Home School Resource...Even For Younger Grades
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
This will be used as supplemental for home school. We will use it for several years to get deeper into subjects. Looks like a great resource that will save me a lot of time. I bought the entire set. Two of my home school friends did the same. They will be used as part of the curriculum.

Wonderful book!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
This is a good book. It's visually appealing and fun. It's set up to make navigation easy and it's packed full of wonderfully explained information. My middle schooler uses this book daily to clarify information or to look up something that he doesn't know. I think it will last a long time even with daily use because it's very well made. I own one other book in this series and so far it's all great.

This series of books is a must have
Derived From Web , Jun 18, 2020
I wish something like this existed when I was a kid. They are coming out with high school ones too. The review breaks up the lesson into easy-to-read explanations with lots of examples for greater understanding. The answers are in the back. These are essential for a middle schooler who is struggling with any subject. Even if all of the material is new, it makes a nice reference guide where you can find everything you need. These are a nice supplement to my student's learning material, and I would add them to it.

It’s okay
Derived From Web , Mar 5, 2020
The book was in good condition when it arrived. I like the design and it kept my daughter interested. I would like it to have more explanation or practice questions. You get what you pay for, so I am not disappointed. This book is more of a reference book for kids. If your child forgets a concept that they've been taught, you can look up the definition and explanation on the internet. I suppose you could research each concept to find a set of answers. It might work if your child doesn't need a lot of review. It is a great example of how to study or take notes. I was hoping for more value, but it wasn't as much as I wanted.

Who sells a educational book without an index?
Derived From Web , Nov 29, 2018
I would have given this book a five star rating as my students love it, many asked their parents to purchase it, but the book is missing two things. The format of this book would have helped the student learn symbolism, which is a difficult topic to teach. I would have given a four star rating on this alone, but it is missing the index, which makes it hard for students to find information. I bought the book with the index from Barnes and Noble for a reduced price with a 10% off coupon and 20% teacher discount. If the replacement set I am getting on Saturday has the index, I will update my review. If the math version has an index, the teacher wants it.

Great book - buy this for your child - great for all middle school grades
Derived From Web , Oct 30, 2018
The book was great. It's attractive enough to make you want to read it. The highlights and titles are in bold print and the graphics are colorful. The chapters are colorcoded. You can check your knowledge questions and answer page. All the units are listed in the contents. This book has all the important information broken down in easy to understand text and simple to read maps, which makes it stand out from the others. It is all you need to know. We have all of the subjects in the series, including math, science, English Language Arts, World History, and American History. This is definitely worth the money. This book and series is easy to explain to your child. Nothing complicated. This book is part of a series. I highly recommend it.
