   Review of Kindle Edition: No page numbers!
This is not a review of the book's content because it is very specific. A lot of that is dependent on the individual student's interest in the subject. There are so many editions of text books that don't have page numbers that my issue is with. Anyone working at an academic level is aware of the importance of page numbers in first, following along with course content and second, producing authentic citations. I'm afraid that I'm going to have to abandon my experiment into digital text books this semester and exchange them for paper ones.

   A good resource for EBP studies
The textbooks for nursing are dry. This one isn't the same. Practical situations are used by the authors to illustrate the concepts. They make the subject easy to understand. If you' re looking for a text that doesn't have a lot of jargon, try this one.

   Evidence-Based Practice in Nursing & Healthcare:
The book was for my graduate level research class. I hadn't done research in the program in a while. I needed a review of the terms that this book didn't offer. When I read something I didn't understand, I had to call my duaghter who just finished a research class to explain the parts of the research I didn't understand My daughter said the book she had was more informative than the one I had. I wouldn't recommend it.

   Bloated, self-important textbook
I don't like this book. I think it makes the subject too complex. The authors explain concepts in hundreds of words that can be easily understood. It reads as if a lot of the language is made up gibberish, as if the authors are trying to elevate the material.

Highly recommended to clinical educators in the hospital. It's a must for all nurses and doctors. Excellent source of references for improving nursing care in hospitals. Everyone wants to pass the JCAho This is a source for confirmation of effective nursing practice.

   Book is great if you have an intro to research already
This book was hard to use for my papers and I had to use a different book for most of my questions. If you are having trouble understanding the basics, this book won't help you much. It is easy to read and full of information.
