The bestselling beginner Arduino guide, updated with new projects
Exploring Arduino makes electrical engineering and embedded software accessible. Learn step by step everything you need to know about electrical engineering, programming, and human-computer interaction through a series of increasingly complex projects. Arduino guru Jeremy Blum walks you through each build, providing code snippets and schematics that will remain useful for future projects. Projects are accompanied by downloadable source code, tips and tricks, and video tutorials to help you master Arduino. You'll gain the skills you need to develop your own microcontroller projects
This new 2nd edition has been updated to cover the rapidly-expanding Arduino ecosystem, and includes new full-color graphics for easier reference. Servo motors and stepper motors are covered in richer detail, and you'll find more excerpts about technical details behind the topics covered in the book. Wireless connectivity and the Internet-of-Things are now more prominently featured in the advanced projects to reflect Arduino's growing capabilities. You'll learn how Arduino compares to its competition, and how to determine which board is right for your project. If you're ready to start creating, this book is your ultimate guide

Amazon dropped the ball on shipping, in a box with other items loose, looks like a used book as a result. Unfortunately, not enough to return, but very disappointed. The book is great for me as I learn the hardware end for the first time. Aiming forward to spending good time working on projects.

Excellent thorough intro to Arduino and electronics basics
Derived From Web , Oct 18, 2020
This book is written well and is readable thoroughly. Unlike some technical books that provide examples for you to follow, this book explains the concepts very well. If you are reading this, Jeremy, I wish you would write a book like this for the ESP32.

Super step-by-step project guideline; excellent companion to Elegoo's HW experimenter's sets.
Derived From Web , Aug 10, 2020
If you're all new to Arduino and trying to get a hold of HW and SW simultaneously, really important considerations. Comes with pointers to download SW for all projects, so that you can be lax and not enter SW by hand. Though it does not seem to dilute learning, it seems to be quite appropriate.

No practice projects

It is only generally capable of covering things that the Arduino covers. It is not much more informative to me than reading the Wikipedia page on Arduino. I wanted to learn step by step how to do popular builds and I think this book claims to be something it isn 't.

Its the book, the website support and so much more
Derived From Web , Jul 15, 2020
This book is for those who want to learn in embedded systems hands-on experience. Building the programs and working the circuits in each chapter provides a fun learning experience. Jeremy Blum's 2nd edition book is a very well thought out experience through the Arduino ecosystem and a practical interface with the external world. It is an embedded systems class for the maker and engineering students as well. Each chapter leads the reader through successive steps to build the final project of each chapter. I have purchased several copies from some of my closest friends and we work together through the chapters. I rarely write book reviews, but I am forced to write this book. The book is great, as many other reviewers have stated so much better than i.

Outstanding in so many ways

I have earned a Master's degree in Engineering several years ago and I wish a book like this was available back then. It begins with engineering basics, shows us how to interface with our environment and then goes deeper into information and communication technologies, while having fun with an incredibly easy-to-program Arduino. I haven 't found a single typo, the design and layout are great and it is very well written. This might be the best technical book I ever read.

Updated edition is worth the purchase.
Derived From Web , Feb 26, 2020
I use the Arduino platform for new projects or projects that I don 't want to spend the time to build a prototype PCB with a microcontroller. I have used the second edition of Exploring Arduino for years, when I came across the first edition on Amazon. The second edition added many new chapters and organized them into an easy to reference format based on applications. This makes Exploring Arduino easy to start for beginners as well as providing a quick reference for more experienced users.

Revised Edition is worth the upgrade!
Derived From Web , Feb 9, 2020
The first edition of this book has been the most helpful to me over the years, having referenced and even cited the same in my YouTube channel on using Arduino for environmental monitoring. I needed to order a second copy to replace one that I borrowed to a colleague at work. In doing so, I can vouch for the color photos and revisited themes as well worth the upgrade. Many of the themes covered in the first edition have been thoughtfully revisited and edited. This issue is not just an added paragraph here or there to justify selling more books, but a thoughtful revisit of the theme with timely updates and edits. Mr. Blum did a great job. I don 't often write reviews, but was so impressed with this edition that I felt it was worth it to take it for the same.
