I'm glad I had a kid or I'd have never gotten into this series
I remember seeing this on the shelf of the comic store that I frequent in my twenties. It was probably at Borders when I worked my college freshman year there. A decade later, looking for appropriate, engaging stories for my nine-year-old, a very helpful man at All in a dream, expressed this series. I thought that Bone was some kind of Disney Puff storm along the lines of Kingdom Hearts. Back to Bone : Well suited character types and classical tension. Of course, it is about evil vs. good. But what is the story? There is thwarted romance, hidden lineage. If my son would read them faster. I'm glad he read them, though. He loves the series and the books serve as an excellent reward for staying in school and helping around the house.

My 9 year old loves the series. Written in ...
He was written in a comic book form and devoured these books within a week. I then had to buy the next one and then donated them to his teacher's library, so that his friends could read. My son could not put them down.

   Good books!
Son added this to his reading collection and likes it. Remember that childhood is only once so if they want to get them!

   We love Bone!
He gets one for every special occasion and can not get enough. It is a little above his reading level now, so we read them together and I get into them too!

Every person, animal and being adds to the adventure of the Bone Cousins as they aspire to live a new life for themselves and uncover secrets about other characters'past that will affect their future. The book act is bright with lots of details to the characters as well as the scenery around them.
