A RESE WITHERSPON x HELO SUNSHINE BOK CLUB YA PICK

Filled with all of the action, emotion, and lyrical writing that brought readers to Sky in the Deep, New York Times bestselling author Adrienne Young returns with Fable, the first audiobook in this new captivating duology.

Welcome to a world made dangerous by the sea and by those who wish to profit from it. Where a young girl must find her place and her family while trying to survive in a world built for men.

As the daughter of the most powerful trader in the Narrows, the sea is the only home seventeen-year-old Fable has ever known. It's been four years since the night she watched her mother drown during an unforgiving storm. The next day her father abandoned her on a legendary island filled with thieves and little food. To survive she must keep to herself, learn to trust no one and rely on the unique skills her mother taught her. The only thing that keeps her going is the goal of getting off the island, finding her father and demanding her rightful place beside him and his crew. To do so Fable enlists the help of a young trader named West to get her off the island and across the Narrows to her father.

But her father's rivalries and the dangers of his trading enterprise have only multiplied since she Read More chevron_right

   Great Book
It kept me on the edge of my seat, Mr. Kennedy said. Based on the swashbuckling exploits of Captain Jack Sparrow, this is a thrilling adventure on the high seas. The film follows a young girl named Fable as she finds her place among those around her and starts to question what she has been working towards since she was a teenager. This book is for any fan sea ventures and pirates.

   Amazing
The book is a stunning example of how to properly structure a book. Just make sure you read it straight through, in a day or two when it came to an end. Loved this book, said Janet.

So Glad I found this series
This is a great start to a new series, said executive producer Michael Lombardo. The book is a great read, said Dr. Jonathan Green, director of the Naval Criminal Investigation Command's Criminal Division. Second, I really look forward to what's next.

   Four plus stars
This was so much fun, said Blair. Four and a half stars? I'm not seeing a sequel yet, but when I find one I will be sure to read it.

   A Must Read
Loved the book. She is an amazing and strong woman, Beckham said.

   Boring
I had to reread sections to follow what was happening. I wasn't attached to Fable, and could really care less about West's crew, he said. Some of the Fables actions had me rolling because you clearly knew this decision of hers was completely stupid and that she was either going to get caught or get in trouble, Mr. Rule told the judge. I read about the middle of the book, and then had enough and skipped to the end. I certainly didn't feel like I missed out on anything doing that, and have no interest in reading the second book, he said.

   Free Dive
Young's plot is fast-paced and filled with maritime adventure. Dreger is a type of free diving that combines elements of rock face diving and kelp diving.

   SO DULL!!!
It has all the hallmarks of a good FairyLoot edition, with blue glittered edges. It was just a matter of time, said Blair. It was basically Pirates of the Caribbean but with none of the original cast and no real plot, said Dennehy. Things happen in between, he said. A bad guy chasing them both, an unnecessary romance. It was dull, too, even by Hollywood standards. It also came in a box that was mermaid themed, Sosa said. There are mermaids, we're told. It's just that we don't get paid." It would be great to see some action on the condo front, he said.

An Adventure for Beginning to End
The story starts strong and doesn't let up even at the end.

   Great story!
I love the music, but the lady who made the call was so sweet. Some of the descriptions of the beast made me a little bit confused, but the rest was just amazing, too, Mr. Cowger said. Sucked me in and held on, Mr. Booher told the judge. Awash in blood, the princess must summon the courage to defy the odds and rescue her family from a deadly shipwreck.
