I am not sure what would be a collection of slightly abbreviated stories. They added the title of the story to the top of each story, rather than a separate page. The new change was replacing the list of other fancy words in each book. Instead, there is a single list after the table of contents. It is a large colorful book with a padded cover, beautiful pictures and an easy to read type.

I ordered this book by Fancy Nancy 5 Minute Stories for my granddaughter. The book I received is written with the previous owners'name on the front cover, so that returning items is a hassle, so I guess I will have to keep the book and read the stories over the phone to my granddaughter. So disappointed, I am very much.

Nice thick book for toddlers

Bought this for a girl who should be reading at a HS level, but is babied by her parents and acts like a toddler. I am not sure if she liked it or not because I never received a thank you, so I can only speak positively about the aesthetics of the book and that was 4 out of 5.

My granddaughters love Fancy Nancy and this book is part of the Grandma and Grandpa story time over the Skype collection! We read the pictures to them and show them. They love it and we get quality time with them, albeit from far away.

We read a few stories from it before bed most nights, they read it to themselves, and they have broadened their vocabulary thanks to Nancy's fancy diction. It is one of their favorites and a good deal considering how many stories are contained in it.

My daughter read every Fancy Nancy book in our library and absolutely loves this collection. We gave it to her for Christmas and have already read them all because she wanted two every night and some during the day! I feel like this book over explains fancy words, which is a little annoying to me, but our five-year-old does not mind at all.

What a great purchase! '' They enjoy it every night and choose their own story from the book. I actually had to tell them that they can not choose it every single night or else they will! Nancy is a favorite in our house and this collection is wonderful!
