Simple easy to read that list long or shirt sounds that are in the book, as well as sight words and Nancy words. Nancy Fancy is a great writer, and I think these stories are great and easy enough for the first reader, Raymond said. The stories are condensed from the originals.

Too hard for beginners
Derived From Web , Sep 26, 2020
Nancy is a beloved character at our house. The fact is, these books do not allow her to practice her craft. The book's hefty 1,500-word outline is too large for a beginning reader. If you want to get into the book series, you can read the first two books for free.

These are not easy reads, but they are really good reads. There are also some beautiful pictures of the twins. Both are perfection.

Not Phonics based
Derived From Web , Nov 16, 2019
The volume of the first book is significantly smaller than expected. Phonics, by the way, is not based on George. Like all the other first readers, they are all British.

Great!
Derived From Web , Mar 1, 2019
She wants to read more books, but I can't afford to buy expensive books to get her interested in reading. She added that reading doesn't come easily to every child, so she "really appreciates authors who create engaging, confident-building books for our children."

Great for Beginners
Derived From Web , Jun 9, 2017
Note the introduction to this book by Frank Quattrone, one of America's greatest novelists. The fact that it got my 5 year old into reading made me want to read more. These are sort of shortened versions of other Fancy Nancy books so you may recognize some pictures and story lines. 0 3171 3171 2163 The book deals with the life of Nancy Furst, but also includes short stories and pictures of other Fancy Nancy books. In fact, her daughter was excited to read all the books.

Great for my new reader
Derived From Web , May 12, 2017
Thanks for the tip, I'll be back. In addition, she said, the workbooks have helped with her fluency and confidence. My daughter is a very good reader, and she has a good grasp of long and short vowel sounds. Each book has a word list on the first page to help her confidence in what she will be reading. There are some fancy, more difficult words thrown in there, which is a wonderful challenge. We've also read the similar Biscuit set, and the Fancy Nancy books are more of a challenge, even for the best of us.
