   No longer read for daughter
The story of this book is not what I expected. I do not like Lil Nancy's bratty behavior and refuse to read it to my daughter. She has enough Diva behavior on her own. She has enough self-confidence. I do, however, like how they apologize... eehh.
   We love it
My little one has me read this to her every day yup, it is THAT book. She now wants a birthday tea party. As a parent, I think it's a sweet story of friendship, love the vocabulary, like that the parents are respected in the story, but my little one loves being fancy too, just who she is, so we will work on the real meaning of beauty in other ways, so that the good outweighs the bad. Side note - we got the other book Tea Party Fancy Nancy too... it is more of an instruction manual and not as entertaining, this is the one to get.
   Girls LOVE this book
This became very quickly one of my two favorite books of my daughters. I am brand new to the Fancy Nancy series, but I am totally hooked. In this book, Nancy and her neighbor, Bree, have a miniature tea party and end up fighting over the tea set. The tea set is broken, and both girls are upset. Nancy's parents encourage her to apologize, and everything is right at the end. It is a great story about friendship, sharing and responsibility. Like all Fancy Nancy books, it is also vocabulary-friendly! My two year old knows that au reviour is now in French only from deducing it through the context of the story. Love Love Love is the Best Gift and I will purchase the rest of the series! This is a paperback version of the book and very flimsy. Not an issue for the kids, but if I had known how much they would love the story, I would have purchased a hardcover that would probably last longer.
   Not just "Fancy" fluff
I have a policy that I don 't let my young children see or read anything without my approval. I didn 't know about these books when my friend introduced me to them for the first time. I thought they were just a bunch of cutesy fluff. I'm glad that I gave them a chance. My daughters adore Fancy Nancy! My daughters adored adored Fancy Nancy!! This is actually the second book we bought, but we want more! This particular book is about two friends who learn to share a special tea set and more importantly, learning to reconcile and forgive and still be friends after both have acted selfishly. What's more, these books teach vocabulary in a fun and memorable way because it is written right into the story. Of course, all my daughters notice the cute dress up clothes and tea party, not knowing that they're also learning to be a good friend.
   Great book that teaches forgiveness.
The book did well and my daughter loved it too. In the middle of the book, the girls ( Frank and Bree ) are angry at each other, but at the end of the book they forgive each other and are friends again. It is sweet. I've always liked the look of it ''.
   Great Fancy Nancy book
We always love Kara and I always love Fancy Nancy books and we were not disappointed. The book is glamorous and the drawings are fun of course. I keep waiting for a humorous cartoon to be developed because this would be a fun and colorful show. Thank you very much for the great book.
   Great teaching in the book
We love Fancy Nancy, and there are always good lessons in stories, but this is our favorite. The story deals with the importance of saying sorry and how to handle relationships that go through hard times. This is such an important lesson for my son of 4 years old and I highly recommend this book!
   Not best story
I wanted to give this to my granddaughter when I took her to her very first tea party in a tea room. I did not like the bickering in the story. I even refused to give it to her. Not sure if I donated it or if it is in a box in my closet.
   Love this book
Such a great book! We love all the fancy Nancy books, and this one is my favorite so far. It isn 't too long, the pictures are great and best of all, it talks about saying sorry even when you don 't want to! s'' is a .
   Love the Fancy Nancy series
Super cute book. My daughter loves the Fancy Nancy Series. It is a great book for her to read on her own, not too many difficult words and a quick read.
