   A little bit of everything
This is one of my favorite cookbooks of my partner. Her go-to recipes are the black bean powder, the scrambled powder and the mac n cheese salad. I swear, the black bean salad is super simple and a very close go if you want to eat a salad or a tuna-like meal.

I have MANY vegan cookbooks, but this hit me on a home run for sure. There are so many easy, convenient, time-saving recipes... it's amazing!

   Beyond Disappointing
I have ordered this book before. I was super excited to finally get it ''. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Most of the recipes are ones on the blog or in her previous cookbook. The ones that aren 't are extremely underwhelming. 6 pages of popcorn recipes? 1 page is how to pop popcorn and the others having a recipe per page for toppings. Wow, what a difference! Never would have known to put peanut butter and strawberries. The recipes I tried were lacking in flavor. And the two tasted the same, just one had gnocchi and the other had peas. Sam has always been a fan of s ''. In fact, I made almost every recipe from her book Fuss Free Vegan. But this one is highly disappointing and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

It's got a lot of diversity
Honestly, I thought I would like it more, because most of her recipes are pretty good. So far, not much appealed to me. I'll try some more recipes and see how it goes.

   Just Wonderful!
Originally, I found Ms. Turnbull searching for vegan recipes on the internet. I am new to healthy eating and I really appreciate those who are generous in spirit and provide some free recipes. After trying some of her recipes, I was happy to see that she had this cookbook out. I have not tried anything yet, but here are some of the things that made this book a step or two above, the mix and match recipes for your own spice mixes, the cost-effective techniques for smoothies, bowls, snacks, soups, etc. For example, take an item from a section, add any item from the second section and something from the third and you're done. I love the recipe for veggie broth powder, which you can keep on hand and add a little water when needed, those cartons of broth can really add up. I can 't wait to try some of the recipes - they look so yummy!

Makes cooking feel like a trip to Chipotle! Mix and match friendly.
Sam, thank you! I went vegan just this year and I love the method of presenting lots of fun ideas for customizing bowls, desserts and snacks. This means that no matter what is in my pantry or in the fridge, I can always find a way to make a delicious and colorful meal. I also love the photos, the photos and the lack of rare ingredients. Sam definitively proves that even if all you have is a Kroger or a Walmart, you can still make filling, nutritionally interesting and satisfying vegan meals.
