   A Wonderful Human
Fauja Singh is a wonderful human being with a beautiful, inspiring story to share with our whole world! I read it to my fourth grade class and became for my students a bright spot in the world. Plus, at 100 years old, he did an amazing thing to help bring recognition to all the Sikhs! Glory!

   Not Just a Children's Book!
As a school psychologist, I am always looking for new books to help children learn more about the world around them. This book is so inspirational and demonstrates the importance of perseverance and prayer really. Because of this book my daughter is so interested in Sikh culture and wants to visit Punjab when Covid's travel restrictions are relaxed! The author does a wonderful job of telling this beautiful story and the illustrator really brings every page to life! This true story inspires you to want to make positive changes in your life, and every time I read it, I get more out of it! I cannot express how great this book is, you really have to read it for yourself!

A Children's Book That Hits Home
Such a sweet and inspiring story! On a personal note, I was in tears to see someone who looks like my grandfathers, presented in a children's book. Simran Jeet Singh struck the perfect balance of weaving cultural Punjabi and Sikhism elements to teach young children about other cultures while retaining larger themes of fighting against the odds and hard work at the forefront. The illustrations by Baljinder Kaur took me back to my own childhood. Can 't recommend this enough .

This is a beautiful addition that shows how with determination and consistency you can help you reach your goals and fulfill your dreams even when others do not believe in you, no matter what age! I am so happy to have read this and was filled with so much excitement when I finally got to feel the pages and read about Fauja Singh's interesting life.

If your kid likes to read a book over and over agin - this is one you’ll enjoy with them!
For so many reasons, this book is such a treat! It is an inspiring biography of Fauja Singh, with a message that resonates despite any hurdles on your way. As a parent, I find it is also a little fun to read because of the story and the beautiful illustrations. The book has characters that are physically resemble people in our lives and our son is enthused by this, but this book is really for everyone because the messages are universal.

   Beautiful story & illustrations
So happy that this book exists! The message of perseverance and seeing humanity in all its glory is a wonderful lesson. It is great to see a book that embraces multiculturalism, showcases Sikhs and handles the topic of disability so thoughtfully. The illustrations are different and beautifully portrayed people of gorgeous backgrounds, skin tones and abilities. The illustrator Baljinder captures her subjects realistically while adding whimsy and charm.
