I was going to purchase this but I'm not trans-female and using the word woman excludes me and others like me from these patterns. It's not just women who are fighting the patriarchy. Whose place isn't in the home? Who should be running things? Trans women and men also do. So this sort of old-fashioned white woman centered feminism is just too outdated. To truly be feminist, the movement needs to be intersectional, he said. If we don't overcome it, race and gender will have a part in it. Just wanted to put my review out here because, well, I'm just kinda sick of being excluded from these sorts of things.

Easy to Follow Patterns!

It was the best book I have ever read. I've completed a few patterns and have used it for reference on various floss color palettes. I got this book as a beginner and was able to follow the patterns without much trouble, and I've been able to make some lovely gifts for fellow feminist friends.

I bought this book two years ago, and I absolutely love it! The patterns are so fun and sassy, and the different levels of difficulty make this book really accessible for beginners, Witt said. I've already made three projects from the book as I got back into cross-stitching after a year away. I am a huge fan of Nancy's book. It had just arrived in the mail, and I had to order my own copy from the local library. A great book with lots of great introductory and advanced reading material, along with useful and very encouraging instructions for beginners. Easy to advanced projects from that level are rated with help from the experts. Hand-embroidered by artisans using 14-count Aida fabric, the designs are embellished with Swarovski crystals. Yes, some of the songs have adult language. Let them hear your Roar!

Buy it now, PCMag says. This is a perfect present for a cross stitcher. Thanks for the tip, and I'll be using it for years to come. The pattern is very similar to the colors, except that the borders are slightly different.

I received this book as a gift from my mother-in-law shortly after I started cross-stitching. So far I have completed three of the 40, and I have plans to do several more. The book is well-organized and includes a wide range of projects, some of which are suitable for beginners. Simply put, the patterns are easy to follow and the charts are labeled with both colors and symbols. While the book includes a variety of fun slogans - including quotes from William Shakespeare, Michelle Obama and even Donald Trump - these are, unfortunately, no Charlotte Bront.

Easy to difficult craftivism

For any wondering about the level of difficulty of the designs, I am new to cross-stitching and did not find the Smash the Patriarchy design to be difficult. It looks beautiful and complex, but did not feel like much of a challenge. I look forward to the next one, Tunick said.
