A little depressing, if you're a fan of FFVIII...
Derived From Web , Apr 10, 2019
I'm not saying I'm going to read it, but I really like it. I'm a huge fan of the series, so there isn't any way this book could have been bad, at least for me. The artwork is, as always, full of concept art and screenshots, and all kinds of other fantastic fan goodies will enjoy, too. But To echo what many others have said about this book, the FFVIII content is sorely lacking compared with the other two. The rest is probably split between "F2" and "FVIII." So, if you're a big fan of VIII but kinda meh on the other two, this book might disappoint you.

Very Nice
Derived From Web , Feb 24, 2019
The amount of content is about 23rds less than the other games, which is unfortunate, especially if you're a fan of 8, but overall the book offers a healthy amount of content for all three FF's, and IMO it is worth the purchase.

Good, but Final Fantasy VIII gets unequal treatment yet again...
Derived From Web , Jan 2, 2019
Overall it's a great volume, especially for fans of the original movies. For a fan of those two games, I feel like we drew the short straw yet again. Both 7 and 9 have tons of info like character sketches at different stages, and other tidbits of info that are completely omitted from 8. They could have and should have included more, where 8 is concerned, and gone more in depth like they did with the others, Mr. Dhaliwal said. As for the other section, I feel that it just got a very bare bones inclusion, shipping wise, with no dents or dings, said Mr. Dhaliwal. Great quality papers and printing. Also included are a few photos of the child that were taken with a telephoto lens.

It’s rough being a FFVIII fan..
Derived From Web , Dec 22, 2018
If you're a fan of the Harry Potter movies, then this is a bit disappointing. The book is less than half the amount of content that WHI would have had for VIII. No early designs, no early scenes, just artwork and character bios. Good content for the other games, too.

A superb art book covering the PS1 era of final fantasy!
Derived From Web , Dec 19, 2018
Lots of great art, concept, and unused content! Even the original design documents show that FF7 was planned to be an N64 game. ff7 has way more content than the other titles, but FF9 has the most pages, and it covers less topics. The ff8 section has a length of about 60 percent of the book. Whether you're a huge fan of the console or not, you're sure to find tons of great content and beautiful artwork. Even at the high price of $27, this book is well worth the price.

Amazing product! Horrible shipping!
Derived From Web , Dec 18, 2018
I was very excited for the second volume of this series, said Blair. It's a beautifully done book, and I'm glad it's being published. The book has been damaged and shipping has been horrendous. Yes, I will be in store. Shipping has never had enough packin and literally half the time the packing has no air.
