Book Overview

From New York Times-bestselling author Deborah Underwood comes Finding Kindness, a heartfelt picture book illustrated by Irene Chan.

Celebrate kindness in all its many forms. This is a powerful story of community, compassion, and generosity of spirit--perfect for sharing

Kindness is sometimes a cup and a card, or a ladder, a truck, and a tree. A scritch and a cuddle. A rake and a yard.

My 3-year-old daughter LOVES this book!
My daughter loves the book that we received as part of our subscription. I wouldn't have picked this book if it wasn't for the subscription, but she still asks to read it. She has learned new words from it. The book is bright with a sweet message.
Very sweet book, but I think one of my pages was misprinted
There is only one page in the book that is flipped this way, and I don't think it's intentional. It was a gift for my little one, so I purchased early and missed the return window, but we got around to reading it and it was not the end of the world. I love the book and the message that being kind is very simple.
Finding kindness in our lives and spreading it to others.
A book on kindness has been created by Deborah and Irene. Sometimes a cup and card is all one needs to show compassion. The illustrations feature a diversity of race, age, ethnicity, and ability and show how everyone can show kindness, empathy, and compassion in big and little actions. There are both small gestures and large gestures of kindness in the text. This is a wonderful book with a positive message of community and practicing kindness to others, ourselves, and our world. It would benefit our society as a whole.
