Who is brave enough to steal from Ranger? Mom
It was a good book. Thirteen was the best so far. The Ranger cars are on fire. The Ranger replacement car was set on fire and he hasn't had the car for 24 hours. The apartment is on fire What else could happen? They are barbecuing so watch out. She cannot cook. Doesn't know what a grill is. It will be fun times ahead.

   Good mystery eatin’
The Janet Evanovich part of the series is a nominee for the Goodreads Choice Award. I loved this cover and the neon sign. If you love the cozy mystery genre, and you wish it could be spiced up with some humor that's maybe on the immature side, every Stephanie Plum book is a real riot. A celebrity chef comes to town and gets beheaded. A whole lot happens after that, so it's not so important. It was enjoyable as all the others in the series.

   Funny
I have read all the Plums in chronological order. This is the funniest thing I have read so far. I wouldn't lend my car to her. Ranger helps her catch up on her skips as she works part time for Rangeman Security. When a famous TV chef is beheaded on the street, Lula spends the book trying to avoid being killed by the culprits. Lula is tied into the murder because she is trying to win a bar- be- que grill off which pays big money. Rangerman clients are being burgled by someone who knows the security pad codes and employees are being scrutinized to see if it is an in house breach, opening the job opportunity for Stephanie to help. It's the funniest book I have read in a long time.
