Lackluster and awkward.
Derived From Web , Dec 26, 2020
Bought it for the child in my life named Fiona, but honestly, this just isn't a good book. The rhyme is forced and awkward, Raymond said. It's a terrible read, even if you're not a fan of Dr. Goin's work. Structurally, it looks very cheaply made, even if the panels are not. Brand new, would not recommend.

At least the pictures were pretty
Derived From Web , Nov 5, 2020
My granddaughter did not care for the book. She started looking at the book on the third page. I was excited to get this book because it had such good reviews, but it just wasn't interesting to my 3 year old. I thought the writer's words could have been better. I'll put it away and bring it back out again in the couple of years to see if she still has any interest in it. The pictures are colorful and pretty, but the book is not all that useful.

Great book about feelings
Derived From Web , Sep 11, 2020
My daughter absolutely loved the book. The neapolitan''s description of the chromatic aberrations follows the same pattern as the 'water chestnut' paint job: how it associates feelings with colors. It's great to see how a little flamingo recognized how cool it was to change colors and wanted to be like that when it grew up. The fact is, she said, "little kids can do big things." Loved the story as well as my 4 year old grand daughter. She helped her understand all the emotions she goes through and know she is not alone.

book did not justify the cost
Derived From Web , Jul 31, 2020
The price was above average, and the book was advertised properly. I'm not that bothered paying for something that was worth while for children, Mr. Dhaliwal said. Its a nice story, but fell well short of justifying the cost.

Really good book
Derived From Web , Jun 16, 2020
I read this book - looking for how it would affect my 4-year-old's understanding of feelings and prejudice, Raymond said. The book beautifully captured the emotions and differences between the two masters of the ancient language. A perfect book for parent-child conversations.

I liked the bright colors used for the pictures
Derived From Web , Jun 12, 2020
It's great to have her back home, she said. The book has already sold more than 1 million copies and she shows everyone her new book. Even in her most natural state, the bright colors draw attention to certain images. Because of this, I am on a fixed income and cannot afford to buy new books. I'm sure all children will continue to love them. I think we'll get a couple more books signed by Estella.
